Most plead out against the federal courts because of how one sided it usually is. Almost all those people were tried in DC (97% democrat) or SDNY (85% democrat). If a case is anyway political you're cooked by having to fight your case in either jurisdiction. Tell me I'm wrong.

No, you clearly do object to the government owning a piece of Intel. More generally that the entire right seems to have suddenly flipped their stance on this stuff once Trump did it.

Usually it's the government owning a piece of the investment in the early stage of a startup and then letting go after the company succeeds on the marketplace, as was the case with Airbus. When the government comes in in late stages, it is usually to rescue a large, important company about to go out of business.

On the public groceries, a smarter play would be to subsidize/incentivize a private operator to set up shop in a food desert area (low/no rent, property tax exemption, sales tax exemption, payroll tax subsidy etc)

Guys, it's not just the Govt owning a piece of INTEL.

Don't forget that Trump has used industrial extortion when it comes to Nvidia and AMD accessing the Chinese market to sell their Ai chips.

Nvidia and AMD will now have to pay 15% of its revenues from H20 chip sales in China.

How is this a REPUBLICAN form of governing?
