I think you can fairly make this a story about crime and how some criminals are given too many chances. Now, it may be that the real situation is more complicated but it's a fair angle to take.

Boiling this whole thing down to race is . . . pretty revealing of some other motives on the Right, I think.

There are some very SICK individuals on this message board.
And some of them never even went to CAL.

This case highlights major lapses in our society:

- repeat violent offenders going through a revolving door, who have brought mayhem to our cities. This mayhem causes people to avoid public places, move to the suburbs (where they may still not be safe), etc.

- long-term mentally ill who should be housed (mental wards)

- the MSM burying stories that don't fit their narrative. This was a near universal news blackout for almost a week.

I find this framing highly suspect. Absent any larger outcry, this incident is a local crime story. The local outlets in Charlotte did indeed report on it right away (that's the reason you were able to see the footage). National news has no reason to report on a local crime story unless it becomes tied to some larger national story, and then they will pick it up. Eventually that happened. This is all fairly normal.

This is just common sense.
But I'm not surprised that "trumpanzees" here use this to promote their narrative about the MSM.

There are several elements that made this murder stand out, the fact that it was completely unprovoked, incredibly savage and violent, was done by a career criminal and likely was a hate crime with a racial motive.

The other aspect about this is that it isn't an isolated event.
