Susan Kokinda of Promethean Action PAC reviews how Canada, the EU, and Commonwealth are trying to undermine President Trump.

Prime Minister Mark Carney appoints Louise Arbour as Canada's Governor General, emphasizing the office's powers and her role as a UN tribunal prosecutor and advocate for creating the International Criminal Court. The Governor General is the Crown's representative, and heads the Military?

The script then covers four meatpackers controlling 85% of processing, reduced ranches and heads of cattle (higher prices), and links this to decades of cartelization and foreign influence in food and commodities. Something the Trump Administration is now confronting.

Like Chuck Schumer said, the Deep State has "six ways from Sunday at getting back at you". I'm sure they have multiple black swan scenarios that can be initiated prior to or on the day of the election to thwart Trump and future political opposition.

Landowner in Oakland hills who cut down 38 trees without permits fined $915,000.00

https://oaklandside.org/2026/05/05/trees-illegally-cut-fine-oakland/

I knew that lumber costs were going up, but I didn't know it was that high.

THANKS PRESIDENT TRUMP!

The size of this fine has nothing to do with the cost of lumber.

According to article, the trees on the property which might had the highest valuation was the Coast Live Oak, which City staff may have evaluated at $95,000. This species of tree has very little or no value as timber, from which to produce lumber. A mature tree of this kind has value only in preventing some erosion and of course, aesthetic value, which is very subjective. The maple might have some value for timber for furniture, but it is not likely to approach the $95,000 for the oak. The cost to remove any tree is expensive, and I would guess the cost to remove any of the mature oak trees would be $50,000-$100,000.

The fine is shocking, perhaps, but the property owner made a costly mistake in deciding to remove the trees without approval from the City. Planning and Building departments can be difficult to work with, and it is really a bad idea to go ahead with clearing the property, without getting their approval. They do not take violation of their rules and codes lightly, and can punish you by delaying your project, increasing fines, etc.

As to Donald Trump, yes, the Trump Administration's military action in the Middle East has caused a rise in gasoline prices, which in turn has caused a rise in the cost of lumber, but there was apparently little or no loss of any trees on the property in question which had value as lumber, only aesthetic value, or maybe erosion prevention value.

The Russians came up with the unjammable fiberglass spool drones 2-3 years ago, then the Ukrainians implemented that last year, as did Hezbollah. The Israelis have been taking heavy losses, 40+ tanks lost in 1-2 days on a column 12km long. Their tanks have no protection against drones, unlike the tanks that you see in the Ukraine war which have metal cages on them.

The Israelis want to steal resource rich land from their northern neighbors Lebanon and Syria, water and offshore gas, with plans to export that gas to Europe. They have been ethnically cleansing Lebanese villages near the border and want to steal all of southern Lebanon.

They pretty much are though, especially on the Lebanese front today as the Israeli army seems to be unprepared. Their infantry kind of sucks for any mission other than killing unarmed civilians.

I didn't read the article as to WHY cut trees in the Oakland Hills, but I'd offer up VIEWS as a distinct possibility.

And how am I to know?
Courts say that if a person lies about the little things jurors have reasonable grounds for disregarding one's ENTIRE testimony!!

I reject everything that Trumpland puts forth. They committed an attempted Coup D'Etat. They defend obvious lies and wrongs.

I have ZERO faith in anyone who has defended Trump's objectives.

In fact, not only do I doubt them, I believe the opposite of what they say.

The erosion prevention argument only has legs if it impacted neighboring properties or public lands.

I like trees and mature ones generally increase property value, not sure why he is clearing them here, but as a landowner of a large acreage with thousands of mature trees who has dealt with intrusive local legislation - his property, his rights.
