Presidents have sent the US Military to be deployed or stationed at the southern border repeatedly, dating back to the mid-19th century. "Troops have historically performed logistics, surveillance, and infrastructure support to assist civilian border authorities." They are limited as to what they can do by the Posse Comitatus Act." In the 19th and 20th centuries, the US Army maintained a continuous presence at the border to handle conflicts, including response to cross-border raids, including during the Mexican Revolution. Barack Obama sent 1200 National Guard troops to the border in 2010, to provide intelligence, surveillance, and support to US Customs and Border Protection. President Trump, deployed thousands of National Guard Troops to the border in both his first and second terms, to assist with monitoring and detentions. In 2023, Joe Biden deployed thousands of troops to the border to assist with logistics, monitoring, and administrative support surrounding changes to immigration policy, like the expiration of Title 42. I guess I'd say he was "fiscally conservative" in the way conservatives have long claimed to be but in practice are actually not.

Bill Clinton never campaigned as a fiscal conservative, never claimed to be a fiscal conservative, and was opposed by almost all the self-avowed fiscal conservatives of the day.

Did you miss Hillary Clinton's history of disparaging African-Americans in public? How about that speech she made at First Baptist Church in Selma, Alabama in 2007, where she tried to adopt a Southern Drawl or speak in Ebonics itself, "I don't feel in no ways tired. I come too far from where I started from." .

How patronizing could a politician get?

And then there was Joe Biden. I guess you missed these comments as well.

in 1977, opposing federally mandated school busing, he said that desegregation could cause his kids "to grow up in a racial jungle."

During his 2008 presidential campaign, Biden described then rival Barack Obama as "the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy."

In 2006, Biden was commenting on the growing number of Indian-Americans working in convenience stores: "You cannot go to a 7-Eleven or a Dunkin' Donuts, unless you have a slight Indian accent."

In 2020, during an interview on The Breakfast Club, Biden told TV host Charlemagne the God that "If you have a problem figuring out whether you're for me or Trump, then you ain't black."

PS. By the way, Trump didn't come down by elevator to announce his campaign. He came down an escalator.

Trump was a HUGE supporter of Omorosa.
But then she only lasted a year in Trump's first term.

But now his APPROVAL RATING has PLUNGED to only 11% with African Americans.
What happened?






As Newsweek reports, despite Trump picking up 16% of the Black vote in the 2024 election, Black voters are overwhelmingly displeased with Trump, and his approval rating has dropped by 25 points since another poll from The Economist/YouGov captured voter sentiment in May.

In the most recent polling, only about 11% of Black Americans approve of what Trump is doing, while 84% disapprove, giving Trump an abysmal approval rating of -73 among that population.
