Friday Night Lights Week 10
The Golden Bears’ 2025 commits squared off for another week of contests in week ten of the 2024 season.
Here are some highlights:
Jaron Keawe Sagapolutele – 2025 QB from Ewa Beach, HI. Sagapolutele finished the regular season with 2524 passing yards, 39 touchdowns and a passer rating of 238.4. Campbell starts the first round of playoffs tonight against Kapolei. The two teams previously met on 9/21 where Campbell won 40-23.
Jae'on Young – 2025 ATH from Chatsworth, CA. Sierra Canyon blanked their last opponent and did the same this past week, winning over Loyola, 45-0. Young wasn’t much of a factor having 2 receptions for 12 yards and 1 tackle likely due to resting during the blowout. Young wraps up his regular season tonight against Sierra.
Meyer Swinney – 2025 WR from Minneapolis, MN. Swinney and his squad kicked off the first round of playoffs in dominating fashion winning 47-19 against White Bear Lake. Swinney was active on offense, pounding the rock 3 times for 44 yards and a touchdown as well as hauling in 9 receptions for 193 yards and 2 receiving touchdowns. Swinney looks to show another dominating performance against Eagan tonight for the second round.
Aiden Manutai – 2025 S from Kahuku, HI. Manutai and the Red Raiders had a bye week in preparation for the playoffs. Manutai finished the season with 6 receptions for 131 yards and a touchdown along with 10 tackles and an int. The Red Raiders will be looking for revenge against Mililani in the first round after suffering a 14-10 loss back in September.
Jacob Houseworth – 2025 TE from Fortuna, CA. Fortuna suffered a loss against Del Norte, 21-12. Final stats cannot be found for Houseworth. Fortuna will be looking to get back in the win column against St. Bernard tonight.
Kaden Cook – 2025 CB from Round Rock, TX. Cook was active on defense against Round Rock Westwood in their win, 52-27. Cook recorded 5 solo tackles and 3 assisted tackles. Stony Point looks to finish the season strong tonight against Round Rock.
Tre' Harrison – 2025 S from Gardena, CA. Harrison played lockdown defense in Serra’s convincing win over Bishop Amat, 52-21. Harrison had 6 total tackles and 2 pass deflections. Sierra has their regular season finale against Sierra Canyon tonight.
Ben Howard - 2025 OL from Lehi, UT. Howard and the Skyridge finished the regular season 8-2. Howard will be up against Riverton for the first time this season in the first round tonight.
Anthony League – 2025 RB from Long Beach, CA. League was quiet but efficient in their blowout win over Compton, 51-0. League had 1 reception for 63 yards. League finished the regular season with 1,438 rushing yards, 316 receiving yards, and 215 kick return yards as well as 7 touchdowns. Millikan is awaiting their first round opponent.
Mike Klisiewicz – 2025 OL from Brentwood, CA. Liberty was blown out against Pittsburg, 47-15. The offense couldn’t get much going through the air with 47 passing yards and 217 rushing yards. Klisiewicz and the gang look to bounce back against Freedom tonight.
Ike Okafor – 2025 DE from Alief, TX. Alief Hasting Bears will be looking to get in the win column against Strake Jesuit in tonight’s game.
Lebron Williams – 2025 DE from Kahuku, HI. The Red Raiders will be going up against Mililani in the first round tonight.
Beckham Barney – 2025 LB from Mesa, AZ. Barney was quiet in their blowout win over Tolleson 57-6. Barney has 1 total tackle. Mountain View looks to keep the 5-game win streak going against Cesar Chavez tonight.
John Tofi Jr – 2025 ATH from San Francisco, CA. Tofi Jr. and company dominated Archbishop Mitty, 42-13. Tofi had 5 tackles and 1 PBU in the win. Junipero Serra is next for the Crusaders on 11/2.
