Bears Look Ragged but Rout Idaho State

Penalties, dropped passes, missed tackles mar third straight victory

Cal had a lot of be proud of Saturday as the Bears routed Idaho State, 45-23, at Memorial Stadium. 

In running their record  to 3-0, they turned in another dominating first-half defensive performance, setting up a touchdown with their seventh interception of the season.  Chase Garbers, who did the bulk of the quarterbacking, was 20-for-25 passing for 224 yards and three touchdowns.
