How does an experienced QB play that poorly? Can't mount any kind of a final drive. Throwing underneath time after time?

1) No injuries
2) Not a conference game loss
3) We didn't give our conference opponents much of a peak into our playbook
4) We didn't get blown out
5) It's 11PM so I can go to sleep now and forget about the game tomorrow morning.
6) We won't have unreasonably high expectations that will just lead to eventual disappointment.

It's crazy if you think about it..like..all our runningbacks were averaging about 4-5 yards a carry and our offensive line was just blowing them the hell up and our OC just starts chucking it for no reason lol

Nevada can't stop the run and we go pass, QB draw, pass, missed field goal, then throw a bomb on the next possession. Everyone watching the game knows running is the way to go except Musgrave and Wilcox. Un fn believable.

He chose to go away from the run. The run that worked so well to get Cal off to a great start and a 14-0 lead. He never really went back to what worked so damn well.
The old saying about running the same play at the defense until they prove capable of stopping it applied here. Nevada never proved capable if stopping the run. So why the heck did Cal move away from the run?!?!

History has shown that one of the biggest predictors of success is to have an experienced QB.
Well, we have one, but he hasn't improved and may have regressed.
Very disappointing.
We wasted a lot of defensive talent with this guy under center.
It's not ALL of him of course, but I am ready for a change. He has underperformed.

An abject failure of the Pac-12 from all corners that 3/4 of the conference doesn't have a competent QB while other power 5 schools have pillaged the footprint for the best QB's.
