https://instagr.am/p/Cj1eznorZqd 6'2" 190 lbs colorado transfer elite wide receiver montana lemonious-craig from inglewood high school is currently on an official visit to berkeley
shocky watched every single play of cal football in person last season, the catch wuz the most insanely athletic reception of the season despite lockdown coverage by lu magia...dude is a +1 athlete who would be an immediate impact receiver in coach toler's room & the spav fireworks
montana is not a dumb azz, he wuz a member of the national honor society in high school and recruited by yale & dumb azz sec schools outta high school...he's also done a countless number of hours via his church engaged in community service helping those in need
yeah the monster 100% approves this important recruitment, we need new speeches in berkeley along with way more speed downfield in open space
the university of california, berkeley=#1 ranked public university in the world (and the epicenter of the civil rights & free speech movements)
exclusive monster 2023/2024 mark madsen roster construction plan:
the ncca allows 13 schollys for men's basketball, last season the roster wuz as follows with new 2023 players in special font:
guards: devin askew (not a true point guard, coach cal recruited him to kentucky as a 2) joel brown (graduate transfer portal to iona, haas biz ad degree) dejuan clayton (turning pro, berkeley grad cert recipient) jarred hyder (graduate transfer portal to cal poly slo, legal studies degree) rodney brown (2023 recommitment sharpshooter, alan crabbe is the cal player comparison) jalen cone (2023 grad transfer from northern arizona, gotta lotta strawberry on his jam, impact player with potential nba upside) mike meadows (2023 grad transfer from portland, microwave scorer than needs to become more gameday consistent) keonte kennedy (2023 grad transfer from memphis, the versatile guard presents a size mismatch for opponents at the 2)
wings: grant newell (the future of cal basketball) jalen celestine (apparently healthy & ready to growl again) sam alajiki (transfer portal to rice) obinna anyanwu (in transfer portal) monty bowser (how do u shoot 92.6% on free throws & 27.3% on 3 pointers?) marsalis roberson (in transfer portal) jaylon tyson (2023 transfer from texas tech, impact starter at the 3 with potential nba upside)
posts: lars thieman (graduate transfer portal to loyola marymount, nutrition science major) kuany kuany (graduate transfer portal to virginia commonwealth, sociology major) nd okafor (huge athletic upside) devin curtis (2023 recommitment bouncy post gotta live in the weight room & eat 5 meals a day) fardaws "big maple" aimaq (2023 grad transfer from texas tech/utah valley, impact player with potential nba upside)
right now coach masden got 5 returning players & 7 2023 recruits for a total of 12 players
econ, not sure where ur post of 5 minutes ago went but that's not how admission works at cal, stanford or the ivy leagues, not even the former prez of the united states can buy an admission spot, got it?
but a lotta low integrity **** is for sale for sure
https://instagr.am/p/CiN9JZ3P8E3 arrive from my manhattan hotel by cab at the ferry point clubhouse around 7:30 am to stretch & warm up at the practice facility
upon arrival the head golf professional tells me that ferry point's developer donald trump heard that as a golf digest & golf magazine rankings panelist that i had an 8:10 tee time and would i like to play with the donald at 8:20 am instead?
so i say sure, no big deal, let's do this
so we make the introductions on the practice green & the 1st thing i notice is that trump has the weirdest color hair ever (kinda yellow orange) & that he has total man boobs along with an oversized obnoxious red cap
i walk & carry my lightweight leather mackzenie bag while the donald drives a golf cart literally to within 6 inches of every green...just as annoyingly, we then proceed to play thru every group on the golf course in front of us (why does he do this, why not just take the 1st tee time?)...it's funny to watch people's reactions as he dictates the playing thru, some golfers are understandably agitated while others want a selfie with him on their phones, he very clearly enjoys all the drama he's created
so he tells while we wait for the short par 4 8th green to clear that he thinks ferry point is one of the greatest golf courses in the united states (it isn't, there are at least a dozen courses on long island & the hamptons that are significantly better) & that he's qualified to make that statement because of his extensive travels around the globe playing golf, that nobody knows golf architecture better than him & that includes actual golf architects
so in front of his 2 buddies & his cart caddie i tell the donald that actually i'm one of the 13 guys (and the youngest) to have played the world top 100 courses & stare him down...total silence, one of his buddies who is the chairman of macys starts to laugh, & donald play punches my shoulder kinda hard, he's been pwned...whatever
dude is an interesting guy but playing golf with him is not really a celebration of the game but more like riding a roller coaster
outstanding 2 under par 70 by the bears #1 ranked player sampson zheng in the 1st round of the ncca regional tournament at the institute
but his 4 other teammates combined for 3 double bogies & 2 triple bogies along with playing the 4 par 5s (which were scoring holes for other teams) in an abysmal 5 over par
bears are in 10th place out of the 13 elite team field at +5 in the 54 hole regional, top 5 teams move on to the ncca championships 5 minutes down the street from shocky at greyhawk next week
coach walter chun is building upon the legacy of legendary hall of fame coach steve desimone
Truthfully, they're probably a little ahead of schedule having even made the regionals this year. But it's a step in the right direction and gives them seasoning for next year, when they should be even stronger with the new kid from Orange County.

yeah everybody loves des
I love Des too, but the team needs more depth. Hoping next year's two super frosh are able to take them to the next level. It took Des a while to build a strong program. Let's see if Walter is able to re-start it.

econ, there r a lotta bears on planet earth that just wanna play soak n splash in cali but that's not what a coach bloesch trench worker is all about...reality is that guys like matthew wykoff that got high gpas with enough transferable units that are 300+ lbs +1 athletes with relentless work ethics in o-line room are kinda like unicorns

The key to college golf is to have three guys that can shoot par or better consistently. The Homa, Hagy, Kim, etc. teams always had that, which is why they're considered the best team ever. Truthfully, had the NCAAs been contested at stroke play their last year (2013), they would have won it going away.
The team with Collin M. on it never found the third guy to anchor the team. Collin and J.J. Limbhasut were consistent. Everyone thought Sebastian Crampton (I think that was his name) from Pebble Beach would be the third guy, but he just didn't develop.
On paper, Lee, Fang and the current number one should give them that core group. We'll see what happens on the course once they get here.

Why is this thread called "Monster Offensive Line" when most of the posts are not even about FB? It might as well be called the "Monster Golf, Schtick, and Playboy Poster Girl" thread. Amirite?

jeff, 100% on your take that great teams got 3 guys that can go low under par every time out, the current team does not have that fireworks right now
consider the homa, hagy & kim team: the 4th player wuz michael weaver who came within a 4 foot par putt on the 18th hole at cherry hills of winning the us amateur & the 5th player wuz frenchman joel stalter who is still competing on the european tour...that's basically 5 players that could legit shoot a 66 any day of the week in competition & that's why they're considered the greatest team in the history of college golf
the amazing thing about the nation's #1 ranked junior eric lee (video above) from fulllerton & top 10 ethan fang (video below) from plano is that both incoming freshmen have obviously never worked in a legit s&c program, what's their upside once they put on good weight with additional strength?...yeah their best golf is ahead of them which is why they got potential pga upside

pitts, got no idea wut ur talking about
cal's monster offensive line (fuchsia socks r for winners, clothes r for losers)#
3.8 gpa 2024 commit tyler knape & future leader of cal's monster offensive line gonna visit the bay area this summer, yeah it's kinda different weather than steamy azz texas but trench workers are primarily focused on the work that needs to be done to dig to the next destination in their development without any candy azz soft excuses
4.0 gpa 2024 6'5" 280 lbs david abajian is gonna be tripping to berkeley also on june 8-11th too & as cal's monster offensive line works with coach bloesch & future head coach in waiting mike saffell to get these smart as **** high gpa trench workers put together as roommates at the #1 ranked public university in the world
4.0 gpa smart as **** david abajian continues to receive significant recruiting interest from some pretty good football programs that are associated with academically mediocre schools for low gpa dumb azzs
abajian got his official trip to berkeley scheduled for june 8-11th, david unofficially visited kansas (his 1st d1 offer) in april plus he's gonna take unofficials to washington state may 25th, oregon state may 26-27th & is also talking to nebraska
clearly abajian wants to keep his options open academically in case he decides to pass on a berkeley degree so he can work his entire life as a supervisor at one of the multitude of truck stops in lincoln, pullman, corvallis or lawrence once his football days are over instead of the cosmopolitan & diverse san francisco bay area which kinda makes a lotta sense
another benefit of wsu, osu, kansas & nebraska is that they got airfares that are 3 times+ as expensive (and impossible to do in a day trip which means significant hotel/rental car costs too) as southwest flights to oakland on gamedays which means he can focus on his football craft while earning a pretty much worthless degree without the distractions of family & friends inexpensively traveling to see him on gamedays
customized cal's monster offensive line weather report specially prepared for 4.0 gpa david abajian:
average january temperatures (highs/lows):
west hills, california 69/41 berkeley, california 58/44 pullman, washington 36/25 corvallis, oregon 46/36 lawrence, kansas 40/21 lincoln, nebraska 33/14
david, if this is not helpful in your decision making process, you can just ignore this ****, ok?

the bears are paired with the waves (who are a national powerhouse from nobu malibu, unlikely to fold under pressure but who knows for sure) & the cougars (who are from cold weather utah, they could definitely collapse under pressure), our guys gotta stay focused & play their games with smiles on their faces (it's fun to be the underdog chasing the pack)

https://instagr.am/p/CsT9YrWOBMx 89, i've played the oak hill west 3 times (thought it wuz completely overrated & not even a usa top 100 course) but not since its recent phenomenal looking restoration of the donald ross classic by newcomer architect andrew green who meticulously researches old hole diagrams & club aerials to remove the garbage work by tom fazio (out of character holes with modern looking lakes fronting the green surfaces) & polish multiple golden age courses including oak hill, inverness & congressional (andrew also just got hired with my recommendation at my beloved interlachen in minnesota) to their original magic...hundreds of trees have also been removed which creates more fun & strategic decisions with greater air space options & improved turf that plays firm & faster
so gonna play oak hill again this september when the leaves start turning orange during an upstate daddy/daughter driving roadtrip (my compromise is to only walk a max of 18 holes per day, no 36 hole days) with taylor which will also include foodie stops in the hudson valley, catskills mountains & niagara falls...we love playing our favorite latest songs at full blast singing along with the top down over & over kinda like that song in tuscon that we beat to death, we ain't ever getting older
https://instagr.am/p/CgnrydaPqWx back in the day shocky visited tara iti (north of auckland, world top 25 course, tom doak design) as part of my new course opening ratings/rankings responsibilities & played/hosted with the club's founder billionaire ric kayne from beverly hills & his good friend (and silent partner at tara it) larry sheakley https://bearinsider.com/forums/8/topics/28431/50
sheakley asks me during the cookout on the beach if i wanna play again that week but i tell him i gotta get back to the states for cal's season opener...sheakley laughs & tells me he's also an ardent college basketball fan and that he's read cal's monster class which is kinda amazing to me but not totally shocking given the millions of views it had received at that time
larry (who is a fun non pretentious guy, kayne teases him the whole round about still primarily living in the midwest) owns the cincinnati reds baseball team (which he does not mention to me, our shared caddie tells me this after the round) & is the university of cincy's #1 booster/donor, he can literally pay whatever nil number bandaogo wants & then double (or triple it) it to get the deal done
got invited this evening back to tara iti (if shocky ever lived in another country it would be new zealand) to play the new tom doak and coore & crenshaw new north & south courses, will visit in february in 2024 once they're fully grown in & ready for architectural ratings
larry has met with aziz & expects a decision in the next 24-48 hours unless a cal nil donor emerges with a $1,000,000+ offer, he's been told that bandaogo's only visits have been to cincinnati at this time & that he's the necessary piece of the puzzle to competing for a national championship
so it's very unlikely that aziz bandaogo is gonna be a california golden program which is kinda sad considering his very close relationship to coach masden & his staff and the fact he's also the necessary defensive disruptor to a national championship run in berkeley
so who's gonna be the 13th & final scholly offer then?
trey woodbury is still the #1 target, not gonna mention his specific nil requirements (but will state he's willing to play for his former utah valley coach for less money) but more nil dollars needs to be raised very quickly in berkeley for this to happen
shocky got walked to his car when cal's monster class got terminated & that love has gone elsewhere, reality is that my annual animal advocacy fundraising here in maricopa county is more than the current cal nil dollars for football & basketball combined...yeah shocky is unstoppable in protecting the most vulnerable

I have no idea if it's world class. But almost 20 years ago I found myself playing a round at Ballyliffin Golf Club, on the shores of the North Atlantic. It was March, and it was cold and windy and you had to move your ball off the frozen fairway to take your shot from the rough, in order to preserve the turf. But the back 9 was right on the ocean and it was absolutely gorgeous.
this 1st team award now means jaylen is eligible this summer to sign a 5 year extension nba supermax contract of $295,000,000...yeah it all started in berkeley
And how much of that $295 MILLION will find its way to the Cal Basketball Program?

Shocky, thank you for helping those that dont have a "voice".
I'm trying to do the same for the San Jose City Animal Shelter. They get nearly 17,000 dogs and cats into their shelter every year and it's a Disaster. Typical city government not able to raise the bar higher than a 3 year old can crawl over.

Now here's a topic I can bite into.
I've only played Lahinch, Waterville, Portmarnock, Ballybunion and The Island. I listed them in order of preference. I suspect everyone else would rate Ballybunion higher so I need to give it another chance but something about the routing and certain hole layouts just didn't float my boat. LOVED Lahinch. Right at the top of my list of favorite courses along with Pebble and Bandon.
