so slim wadie & me got the 1st tee time at the new gil hanse fields ranch east course at pga frisco, we wanna play quickly with our terrific caddie javier from the dominican republic so ima telling the starter we don't wanna play with the other 2 guys on the tee sheet (we got a long day with an afternoon walking round on the new west course designed by former fazio design associate beau welling, shocky prefers twosomes)

and so then these 2 guys start walking towards us off the practice putting green & they realize the monster is tryna dump their sorry azzs

schulzie then notices these guys got cal gear on & one of them walks up to say "hey shocky, are you trying to get rid of us?"

ruh roh

anyways me & slim wadie meet true california golden bears brian (greenville, sc) & deano (orange county, former bears water polo player) & we end up enjoying a really fun walking round with lotta laughs & lunch afterwards...they've been doing cal football road game roadtrips together forever, we're all excited for tomorrow's debut of sam jackson

the east course is a very challenging strategic design but honestly the golfing experience is mitigated by the seemingly thousands of ugly azz tract homes being built surrounding the property...it's not a pure golfing experience & not a legit usa top 100 course despite the future ryder cup hype

weather here is balmy warm, we went swimming late tonite under clear skies, the heat should NOT affect the outcome of tomorrow afternoon's football game in denton

3) trinity forest: arguably the most strategically complex coore & crenshaw design in their portfolio

4) austin golf club: luv doing the hang with ben crenshaw, pure azz golf experience

fun times visiting with our remarkable student athletes & their families during the postgame celebration in the stadium bus parking lot staging area, the pre flight meal wuz a meal to go from raising cane's

*****tole my idol ashton stredick in front of his beautiful family that he is my "favorite golden bear & the future of cal football" which made him smile & give me a sincere thank you...this young man's gpa & tireless work ethic (without complaining like multiple now transferred guys in the running back room last season) tells you all you need to know about this truly remarkable young man

*****cindo's dad tole me he's not sure the extent of mathew's injury & his moms said she didn't see the play but that her son wuz holding his wrist...congratulated them on raising an intellectually high achieving true student athlete & the undisputed leader of cal's monster offensive line

*****taj davis tole me he's very excited next's week battle with sec bad azzs auburn particularly since his fam can get to the bay area a lot simpler than seattle...taj gotta lotta energy & is a big fan of cage fighting & ****...davis is an immense talent & a big personality in the wide receiver room

*****a smiling sam jackson v tole me he's gonna be 100% for auburn next saturday...sam likes to listen to hype music like lucki the evenings before games & then chill down on gamedays...dude got a brilliant smile & a very likable personality, rooting for him to not only ball out this fall but also continue to make progress in earning a life changing berkeley degree
