Fire Starkey's post was the most informative post on this thread in years
With respect, can I ask how you came to that opinion? Because it looks like you've been on BI for four months.
I'm not sure what all the haters are about. If you don't like this thread, why come here? Shocky's info on Cal Football's latest drama seems to have been accurate, with the one exception being, instead of posting that Ott had left the program, he should have worded it, "has decided to leave the program".
I swear, with all the mediocrity and frustration we've faced the past several years, we have been reduced to turning on one another. Aren't we all on the same side?
starting 5 reps (nothing is locked in, the COMPETITION starts now!!): left tackle: frederick williams, 6'5" 300 lbs left guard: jordan spasojevic-moko, 6'5" 335 lbs center: tyson ruffins, 6'2" 310 lbs right guard: sioape vatikani, 6'4" 315 lbs (noticeably cored/leaned out) right tackle: braden miller, 6'6" 315 lbs
the critical left tackle job is gonna be a fierce battle with lajuan owens, 6'4" 355 lbs (needs to lean out a bit, he's a powerful grown azz man)
coach wilcox noted that nick morrow & aiden newbill are out for spring ball...former defensive end akili calhoun is now running with the 2s at right guard
monster spring goals: cal's monster offensive line is shocky's favorite room in the program & he's ******* tired of undersized (thx to a failed s&c program) trench workers in the past getting their azzs handed to them & pushed ******* backwards by stronger predators, the monster trusts coach anae to develop & identify the best starting 5 this spring and hopefully each of these players will weigh in this fall at least 315+ lbs as part of the largest o-line in the history of cal football, u feel me brah??
potential 2026 nfl 1st round draft selection jaydn ott back on the field smiling & getting loved up by his teammates!!
the starting offensive line has not changed materially since practice #1 with the cheerful as **** 6'8" 315 lbs tackle leon bell the closest to breaking the 1s of those participating on the field during spring ball & 6'3" 300 lbs lamar robinson expected to fiercely compete for the starting center position when fully healthy...it's a shame that last season's starting tackle 6'8" 315 lbs flagstaff mountain man nick morrow has missed spring ball
and most importantly doms is a unanimous monster selection into the cal dance & cheer hall of fame, KABOOOOM!!
cam & colorado, ur recruiting strategizing is on point
https://instagr.am/p/C_J43ZJPaIO the bears this december went hard after fresno state transfer julian neal from hunter's point (near candlestick park) & mission high school in the city...3.75 gpa 6'2" 200 lbs cornerback with length, would be a great fit with the TAKERS!!
fun fact: julian does NOT play video games (r u paying attention jacob de jesus??)
did u learn how to swim at garfield when u wuz 5??#
Stanford CB Julian Neal plans to reenter the transfer portal after the Cardinal's HC change, his dad, Emmett, tells @JacksonMoore247 and I for @247Sports/@CBSSports.
#1 target on the staff's transfer portal big board is IMPACT db julian neal, he never attended any classes at stanford as he's currently enrolled & finishing up his fresno state degree in business administration with an emphasis upon accounting this spring

Used to post here years ago under another name. shocky has never been anything other than a loudmouth **** disturber. Wouldn't have looked in this thread at all except somebody said elsewhere that he was spreading rumors about Ott leaving. Been ignoring his public masturbation threads for years.
micheal kim (71, tied for 11th): highlight wuz saving par on the iconic par 5 13th hole playing his 3rd shot from the rocky watery area short of the green in rae's creek, augusta national favors michael's right to left ball flight trajectory
Augusta Diaries (Thur) -Definitely happy with my 71 today. I felt better today than yesterday and overall felt good. Tomorrow might feel way worse but that’s part of golf and life. Feelings are fleeting and it’s important to not be too caught up in them good or bad. -I hit some…
collin morikawa (72, tied for 27th): collin made a couple of miraculous par saves on the front nine but stumbled home with 3 unforced bogeys on his finishing holes, still in total command of his game
max homa (74, tied for 51st): not a great decision to go for the par 5 13th hole with the ball way above his stance, the ensuing pulled 2nd shot into rae's creek resulted in a double bogey 7 but max is doing a lotta positive things right now...weird to see joey greiner on the justin thomas bag this week
ben an (74, tied for 51st): water bound 2nd shot on the par 5 13th hole resulted in a round damaging double bogey 7, ben is just slightly north of the cut line for the top 50 players

Sebastabear has already described having to get Ott "back from the brink" so it seems like there was something happening there and he might have left. Shocky appears to have just jumped to a conclusion that hadn't been reached yet.
sycasey, shocky made a mistake breaking the jaydn ott news, huge props to kevin kennedy, lance cooper & greg richardson in retaining our all american running back!!
but wut would've happened if there weren't passionate alums that luv this university??
if rich lyons thinks cal football is gonna survive without key donors that are completely done with the ****tard incompetent athletic director general knowlton & his worthless bureaucrats jennifer simon-o'neil & markeisha everrett he's clearly misreading not only the room but also the magnitude of the existential financial tsunami that is climbing up his doorsteps at the chancellor estate on campus
there needs to be an announcement tomorrow that all berkeley students (including broke azz 1st generation college kids from seaside & not just just rich as **** trust funders from 17 mile drive) will receive FREE tixs to all football & basketball games on a go forward basis!!
goldy, luv u man but gotta disagree with u on this one (but we're on the same page re: zero interest in gregory's "bend then break" defensive schemes)
the bears would've won 9-10 games last season with either emmett kenney (coached up last season by gregory) or mateen bhaghani...when bhaghani's parents contacted me after the 2023 season to interface with the cal staff re: their son's reneged upon scholly promise as the starting kicker they later tole me they reached out to 3 schools: usc (offered a walk on deal), ucla (offered a scholly which wuz accepted) & stanford (offered a walk on deal, healthy relationship with gregory)
last season the only starting p5 true freshman punter wuz asu's kanyon floyd...his dad jeff (a successful chiropractor here in the desert) tole me that his son's dream schools wuz always stanford & cal, again there's a healthy relationship with gregory
https://instagr.am/p/DFDw2bWSyQU fun fact: both mateen & kanyon along with their parents sat together as unofficial visitors (as guests of michael barton who is a poor communicator & often didn't respond to their emails) in the end zone of the wildly FUN stormin' the field celebration 2022 big game in berkeley
any potential transfer portal deals with either of these 4.0+ gpa true student athletes would need to include admission acceptance assurances re: the haas undergrad business school
bob gregory (who looks like an older grizzly adams uncle of wilcox) is a fantastic football mind (who will serve as another mentor for inside linebacker coach mike bruno) but also serve as a recruiting liaison to the disintegrating stanford football program with the transfer portal reopening next week
julian neal & stud kicker emmett kenney (should he decide to enter the portal, his backstory is wildly fascinating & speaks to his remarkable perseverance against all obstacles) could transform the california golden bears football program this fall
shocky is of the opinion that gregory will also be involved with special teams, the dumb azz ryan longwell who ran off mateen bhaghani in favor of ryan coe has not been around the program this spring which is fantastic news too!!

Pushing Stanford off a cliff might not be the best idea when we are shackled together. Their still somewhat recent success is part of what saved us the last time. We need our value as a pair to be high in the next realignment.
^ julian neal has unilaterally entered the portal, he's no longer interested in playing for the stanford football program & not recruiting him as the #1 transfer portal priority would be a massive mistake
plz accept this as my acceptance of ur invitation for me to serve as the featured guest speaker at the 1st cal football poly coaches conference!!
shocky will mostly talk about poke, yoga, mauna kea, 32 oz green juices, curvy brunette yoga females, food trucks on the north shore & the importance of not running off ur all american kicker (make sure longwell sits in the front row with a notebook)

all 4 california golden bears broke par today/made the cut & are competing this weekend in golf's 2025 1st major tournament!!!!
collin morikawa (69, tied for 12th): in total command of his game, could make a move tomorrow to put himself in contention for his 3rd major championship
not so fun fact: collin has bogied the par 4 18th hole in the first 2 rounds, it's obvious as **** that morikawa needs to be coached up re: this hole by club pro guy!!
Imagine hitting your tee ball on #13 at Augusta in front of all these people and having to #sling it around the corner from this new back tee. #NoThankspic.twitter.com/B7SDgxbjbZ
michael kim (71, tied for 17th): the golf world is learning all about golf's #1 twitter feed who takes fans behind the ropes kinda like cal's monster class which he read in college
Augusta Diaries (Fri) -Looks like Augusta Diaries will continue for two more days! Super proud of how I played today. I hit the ball so solid all day and didn’t miss many shots. 2 three putts sting and speed wasn’t perfect but grinded out another 71 in really tough conditions.…
max homa (70, tied for 27th): max buried a half dozen 10 foot critical clutch putts on the back nine to make the cut, homa should now be able to take a long sigh of relief & aggressively freestyle this weekend!!
Before today, @MaxHoma's last made cut was on July 19, 2024 @TheOpen.
final tune up before tomorrow's spring showcase which will be critical for not only building the 2 deep for fall ball but also the staff's transfer portal needs which reopens next week on april 16th thru the 25th
depending upon their performances this spring shocky is of the firm belief the bears need to secure an ELITE kicker, punter & longsnapper in the portal along with an impact defensive back like stanford decommit julian neal
if rich lyons is at memorial stadium tomorrow everybody should ask him why won't he give ron rivera the key to the cal football program??...also ask him for an update re: the con artist's long promised basketball practice facility & wut metrics is he utilizing to measure general knowlton's abysmal performance??
^ there's a time & place for everything, tomorrow is that time...knowlton is an absolute ****tard incompetent worthless bureaucrat
AD Review: Jim Knowlton hired in '18. Has not made any football, baseball, or women's soccer hire. Below is the conference record of the sports we cover. Jim Knowlton of Cal Bears' hires have gone 131-338-9 in conference play. https://t.co/u9ci08T7DVpic.twitter.com/5drjds5yxu
all my life (shocky just wanted PITCHOUTS with our candy azz soft wide receivers actually BLOCKING at memorial stadium in the fall with the seagulls circling from high above further afar)#
max homa (69, tied for 14th): played the last 6 holes in 4 under par including a spectacular 2nd shot on the iconic par 5 13th hole to a couple feet & an eagle 3!!
collin morikawa (72, tied for 14th): poorly struck/flighted short irons on the 7th & 12th holes led to unforced bogeys when collin couldn't get up & down from the front bunker on each green, augusta national has quietly reconfigured several bunkers to ensure downhills lies in them which results in less spin on sand shots...collin seemed frustrated & needs to chill the **** out
ben an (70, tied for 21st): 4 birdies in a row from the 8th thru the 11th holes wuz part of a fiery 6 birdie round!!
michael kim (74, tied for 25th): michael wuz over hooking his drives to the left but is still poised for his best finish evah in a major championship!!
wut will it take to get the collin morikawa of precision field goal kicking thru the middle third of the uprights with range to 57 yards & ice in his veins at all times??
mateen is currently getting $100,000+ at ucla (which is ****** with their largest whale donor casey wasserman's current costly divorce proceedings (no pre nup) with berkeley grad laura ziffrin (a remarkable musical talent) & clients fleeing his agency), a low key communication (shocky is always available) needs to happen with a haas acceptance letter & a couple of more bucks along with an apology from longwell
other than an ELITE defensive back fixing the kicking game remains the transfer portal priority this april 16th-25th
https://instagr.am/p/DH9JaDIp8p6 UPDATE: kicking today at the memorial stadium showcase wuz absymal (other than a drilled 50 yard make) with a couple of low trajectory missed kicks (including hitting the goal posts) which wuz impacted by off target snaps it's once again clear that the staff needs to look very throughly in the transfer portal next week for an ELITE kicker and longsnapper
yeah we've all seen this ******* movie before with a wilcox coached team
2025 spring ball will start on wednesday march 12th & conclude on saturday april 12th...this will then give the staff 3 days for a deep dive on all player evaluations & then surgically attack the transfer portal when it reopens on april 16th thru the 25th for 10 absolutely frenzied days of contacts & visits in targeting a couple of critical immediate impact prospects
6 key goals for 2025 spring ball:
1) cal's monster offensive line: it all starts upfront & after multiple starters each season during the wilcox era of mediocrity actually weighing less than 300 lbs, novak & meeks are creating a dynamic situation where the bears will probably start 5 powerful trench warriors that all weigh 315+ lbs that got mobility!!
2) the kicking game: due to longwell running off bhaghani the bears lost 3 & potentially 4 games in 2024 due to ****** up kicking misses despite the bear insider myth that coe gotta "big leg" which ignored the fact that's he's a mentally agitated young man unlike the ice in his veins bhaghani...with a new kicker, new punter, new longsnapper & a new holder (none of which are highly regarded in the kicking circuit per shocky's conversations with the rausch & sailor camps) spring ball will determine if the bears gotta head back into the portal for significant upgrades
3) quarterback battle: devin vs jaron, wowza some serious TALENT in berkeley!!
4). HEAT on opposing quarterbacks: will aidan keanaaina become the 1st interior lineman in ages to get sacks?...will ryan mcculloch get his body right in the new s&c program & stay healthy in reaching his tremendous upside?...will the highly regarded san mateo fightin' benjis duo play like violent apex predator edge defenders as taught by coach hawk??
5) wide receiver BLOCKING: will coach cefalo change the culture of the room which has been ingrained for years as the worst blocking unit in college football??
6) the TAKERS: lotta unproven talent, whose gonna lockdown the starting 5??
kinda bizarro land that coach wilcox refuses to provide transparency at the 7:55 minute market re: the special teams organizational structure on a go forward basis at this time, any potential kicker or longsnapper portal transfer prospect is gonna want 100% clarity re: the room's coaches
the following is an analysis/breakdown of the 6 key goals for 2025 spring ball, ur thoughts r welcomed
1) the offensive line is still a work in progress but it's clear that coach anae favors 315+ lbs trench workers just like his poly brah shocky
starting 5 right now, nothing locked in with nick morrow & lamar robinson out this spring with injuries & leon bell making a push for playing time in the rotation
left tackle: frederick williams, 6'5" 300 lbs left guard: jordan spasojevic-moko, 6'5" 335 lbs center: tyson ruffins, 6'2" 310 lbs right guard: sioape vatikani, 6'4" 315 lbs (noticeably cored/leaned out) right tackle: braden miller, 6'6" 315 lbs
2) special teams is still a ******* ****show!!...electric returner jacob de jesus is a game changer but needs to focus less on video games & more on earning a berkeley degree to ensure a bright future (without food stamps) for his beautiful daughter amelia who is a ray of sunshine!!
3) devin brown has not locked down qb1, jaron sagapolutele is just showing off...ej caminonog has been a startling breakout player this spring getting qb2 reps!!
4) not clear if the bears are better with cade uluave in a boot today & nate burrell out with an injury
5) coach cefalo values violent physical play from his candy azz soft wideouts, getting this room stronger in order to physically BLOCK & avoid the past issue with INJURIES will be critical this off season with work in the vastly improved now accountable s&c program
6) jasaiah wagoner with the pick 6 today on a tipped ball!!..cb hezekiah masses is a straight up baller with length & SPEED but gotta work just as hard in acclimating to berkeley academics...early entrants true freshman ja'eon young & aiden manutai got unlimited upside but gotta their bodies stronger to play high level d1 football this fall

So 3 of the 5 projected OL starters were already on the roster when Anae and the new offensive staff arrived. Implies that coaching has been the issue, not necessarily personnel.
pitts, agreed, bloesch wuz a significant upgrade over the non technical angus but with the passage of time & the demanding accountability of coach anae it's now clear in retrospect that mike wuz an inflexible kinda non relatable o-line coach
if newcomers leon bell can get his body cored out/streamlined & lamar robinson 100% healthy this offseason both will be serious contenders for a starting position
cal's monster offensive line got talent but they don't got a violent physicality/mentality to close out games yet at this time, this is still the biggest question mark room in the program along with the ****show kicking game
Great job by @CalFootball putting together the very first Polynesian Coaches Forum in the Collegiate level by one program.

^ rory's emotional celebration with tears is the same kinda losing their **** reaction that shocky will have this fall if the bears win a football game with a last minute clutch field goal!!
rory mcilroy is a special human being, he's been an outspoken advocate for peace in northern island (his birthplace) & the bloody troubles of past generations along with being the pga tour's most vocal critic of the 9/11 terrorist financed liv golf tour which is for non patriotic ****tards like dechambo who prioritize their wallets over any geopolitical considerations
it's absolutely embrazzing that berkeley grads/former cal golfers sampson zheng & joel stalter have unsuccessfully tried to qualify for the liv bonesaw tour
max homa (71, tied for 12th): playing the tough par 4 18th hole knowing he needed a par to finish in the top 12 which earns an invitation to the 2026 masters, max piped a drive then knocked in a kinda tricky 4 footer to seal the deal!!...the homa swagger is returning with an attack mode mentality on the dangerous pins specifically the 11th, 12th & 15th holes...fun fact: max has added a couple of yards to his drive with his off season cored out body which benefits his becoming a lululemon ambassador (luv his new look particularly ditching the ugly as **** mastercard logo on his shirts collars which always looked like he spilled mustard & ketchup on his shirts or something)...let's ******* go, max, just gotta tighten up the 2 way miss off the tee to take home the trophy!!
collin morikawa (72, tied for 14th): collin's putting speed wuz slightly off this week, he putts more aggressively on 10-15 foot par putts than birdie putts of a similar length...next week's harbour town with its tight playing corridors that require premium shotmaking & relatively flat greens is well suited to morikawa continuing this season's outstanding play...yeah collin might win his 3rd leg of the grand slam this summer when oakmont hosts the us open!!
ben an (71, tied for 21st): mark my words the uber long driver of the golf ball with elite ball speed & a world class scrambling hands will win on the pga tour sooner than later!!
michael kim (71, tied for 27th): michael is currently ranked #51 in the world rankings (top 60 will get an invitation to the us open at oakmont & top 50 to the british open at royal portrush in northern ireland), all 4 bears will be traveling to next week's pga tournament on hilton head & it's iconic lighthouse which is for lovers & ice cream aficionados
this is greatest performance evah in the history of cal golf at a major championship, congrats to each of these 4 steely bears competing on the biggest stage on planet earth!!...coach des built a program from scratch based upon young men with chips on their shoulders, hopefully coach wilson will continue that legacy of guys who cared about greatness & each other, that kinda chemistry is rare
