Prelim SG ranks across the board for this week:
— Collin Morikawa Tracker (@MorikawaTracker) April 13, 2025
Tee to green: 13th
Off the tee: 10th
Approach: 8th ✅
Around the green: 44th ❌
Putting: 42nd ❌
Knows what he needs to clean up, although it's the first time he's lost strokes in ATG and putting since the 2024 ZOZO.
He seemed upset about this. Not sure if some contexts cut out or something. But I’m not going to expect my competitor to talk to me or talk back. 🤷♂️ https://t.co/t0XVno1lke

strykur, nil funding is the currency of the college football race to the top these days, lyons decision re: giving rivera the keys to the cal football program or not will determine if fans, donors & star players stick around going forward
this is an existential moment for the university, if memorial stadium attendance along with tv ratings plummet cal is gonna be in the rocky mountain coastal conference in the upcoming round of relegation playing cal poly in front of 2,500+ fans (which will no doubt please the strawberry canyon homeowners) & berkeley losing it's #1 window for alum engagement & school spirit at a time of unprecedented financial challenges
kevin kennedy is the proxy for donors & fans on this issue, when he's done there's not gonna be anybody left (or the monster thread) on the titanic...without football shocky will honestly never set foot again in berkeley, there's a lotta amazing places (with world top 100 golf courses) around the globe & our time on planet earth is finite
An impressive 18 holes for the rookie! 🫡#GoBears https://t.co/9RQCJP9NI9 pic.twitter.com/id7naXIYIZ

football is a violent sport, justin wilcox (despite getting paid 4 million bucks a year) stood stoically on the sidelines all last season while jaydn & the other cal running backs got physically abused via inane predictable runs into granite statues instead of directing his offensive coordinator to call PITCHOUTS in wide open space on the edges...oklahoma is gonna find creative ways to get ott in open space this fall
future hall of fame nfl defensive legend marvin lewis has tole me multiple times that cal wuz the most predictable offensive to gameplan against in the pac 12, that's a reflection of the head coach rubber jacketing beau baldwin's playcalling & giving the keys to the offense to an alcoholic (read my past account of meeting billy m along with his drinking buddy charlie ragle at the phoenix open's 16th hole) bill musgrave
ott's injury last season wuz not only due to playcalling but also due to wilcox retaining failed s&c coach brian johnson too long when it wuz obvious to everybody that the program's stacking of INJURIES wuz due to a non accountable s&c program (which has now been corrected with coach novak & his staff which transparently grade each player's workouts)
and despite losing 3-4 games last season due to a failed placekicking operation, last saturday's spring showcase wuz another ****show performance with low trajectory kicks & off target longsnapping...and yeah when shocky got involved tryna save mateen bhaghani from being unfairly run off by longwell, wilcox opted to just close his eyes to & just look away from the darkness
today's college football coaching requires an extrovert like asu's dilly who is loved by his players, staff, donors, students & the fanbase who interacts with everybody including the monster...justin wilcox is an introvert
poor decision making has both short & long term consequences (rich lyons is tuning out/disregarding donors & berkeley alums which will have devastating financial consequences)#
cal's monster class is sadly on the money again with its unvarnished look at cal athleticsAlkiadt said:BearGreg said:

Yeah, regardless of his decision to leave, that was a big slap in the face to those who tried hard to keep him at Cal. Cal did it's part for him and he just bad mouthed the program. This could lead to more folks leaving.
I hope he gets crushed in the SEC.

When Harsin was at Auburn he ran off all the young African American coaches that the players liked and were Auburn's best recruiters, brought in his guys from Boise, then lost all their offensive talent to the Portal, delivered the worst recruiting classes in Auburn's history and had the #85 offense by his second year.
A coaching style that worked at Boise State in the Mountain West before the Portal era will not work in Berkeley in a P4 conference in the Portal era. If we didn't think of that before, we should have learned it with the Mark Fox fiasco in basketball.
the #1 issue here is that the cal football program needs kevin kennedy via whale donor lance cooper to offer an attractive nil deal for THE JET to continue being a hometown hero & earning a berkeley degree while rushing for 1000+ yards in front of his moms & family!!Shocky1 said:JET STREAM 💨@JaivianThomas goes untouched for the 75-yard score!

the following is a loose transcript of a conversation in the north end zone seating at memorial stadium before the syracuse opening kick off:
shocky (fist bumping everyone in the fam): where did you grow up?
javona thomas (javian's moms): grew up in oakland just like my son
shocky: how's javian doing in the classroom and wut's his major?
javona: he loves berkeley and he's majoring in kinesiology and wants to become a physical therapist, he wants to give back to his community!!
shocky: that's awesome!!...are you a fan of all the interior run calls, would you like to see more PITCHOUTS?
javona: would definitely like to see some PITCHOUTS
shocky: ima gonna quote you on that, ok?
javona: you do that!!
shocky (saying goodbye to the fam with them all smiling/laughing): THE JET is a star star star star star star!!

Agreed - Wilcox failed to do proper due diligence and once again hired a bad OC. Unforgivable after the 3 time and this is what #5?
