met charlie at the 2025 ncca championship at la costa's legoland course while walking all 18 holes while coaching up z's remarkable 68 with his moms lisa (who shared with me some of her tasty pork dumplings on the 18th tee), we walked the final couple of holes & the william & mary transfer tole me he wuz blueshirting (des tole me that day that charlie wuz often the medalist in that season's qualifying competitions) while seeking admission into the haas biz school (which happened this summer, right now the only men's golfer in the program following in the footsteps of collin morikawa)...charlie is very likable, highly articulate/intelligent & a good conversationalist, he's gonna be a ceo on wall street if he pursues that path

saw bundy again at silverado last month & shocky gave him **** for not adding weight (he's still maybe 150 lbs) & tracking his daily protein grams (which is a systematic problem in the underweight program) like pro golfers which he took well (didn't punch know it all shocky in his ******* face)

#66 feels like he gets called for a lot of penalties from my eye test and doesn't seem to be dominating but I guess there aren't any alternatives.

#55 coming from being a backup at an awful Miss State team I didn't have many expectations for and is not a good sign he is in the rotation.

My biggest disappointment is #50 coming with the OL coach and is in the 2nd string. Not a good sign for talent evaluation that a guy with the most experience in the system can't crack the starting lineup here.

joego, that's honestly the million dollar question & the answer will be the biggest factor in determining the outcome of the 2025 california golden bear season

first of all, as predicted, the staff's early week depth chart is a a deceptively misleading fiction document, watching the early pregame warm ups from a couple of feet away it wuz no surprise when the 1s at the tackle slots wuz frederick williams iii (who had a really emotional up close conversation with coach harsin right after the final whistle, it's pretty obvious that frederick cares) at left tackle & leon bell at right tackle

both guys played mostly error free vs their ****show performance against duke but didn't dominate nobody, coach anae is building blocks that is happening slower than everybody (including famika) wants but that's always been a slow croc position room which requires some patience

ur last o-line analysis called out the uneven performances of jordan spasojevic-moko, last nite he got subbed out for a spell at left guard by braden miller

honestly the best ******* MONSTER BLOCK of the season wuz when the bears went to a jumbo elephant package & akili calhoun absolutely DESTROYED the mother****** in front of him in an EPIC ******* BEATDOWN, really think akili has earned more playing time against virginia tech!!

bottom line, the cal's monster offensive line report card is improved but that kinda non dominating/violent style of play is not gonna earn a win in blacksburg next friday nite
