Apologies for appropriating your update, but I really do want to see if we can get a single-purpose thread for this crucial portal period. The images and media mixed into the Monster Thread makes it incredibly painful on mobile, especially when you are checking for updates as obsessively as I am. Anyone have any thoughts about no public portal announcements outside of Jernigan? Are players just assessing their value and program options before announcing and losing their Cal scholarship?
BREAKING: Elijhah Badger, ASU's leading WR who had 135 catches and 1,500+ receiving yards the last two seasons, is expected to transfer, per sources. Alabama and Texas A&M are among the suitors. Badger has been limited this spring due to a back injury against Oregon last year.

Canesport said Miami also is pursuing Arizona State receiver Elijah Badger, who had 65 catches for 713 yards and three touchdowns last season. The 6-1 receiver has played four years at ASU and had 70 catches for 866 yards in 2022. Alabama, Michigan, Texas A&M and Arizona also are in the mix with Badger.

It does not look like a train wreck from that perspective.
They have Ron Rivera's Commanders guys from last year on offense: Bienemy as OC and Castillo at OL., plus with Deshaun Foster as head coach they have a very NFL vibe. That and playing in the B1G, living in LA, UCLA degree… it will be attractive to a lot of recruits.
Just different from Cal. Cal's guys, Wilcox, Bloesch, and Saffel don't have NFL cred. Bloesch did a good job developing our line last year but that is tough for a recruit to discern.
