Start Slowly and taper off
My hopes are:
1. Cal establishes the run and have 200 yards of rushing (done mostly by committee).
2. The defense holds SDSU to under 17.
3. Cal stays healthy.
4. The fans have a great time and come out again.

I'm starting to worry about missing the beginning of the game. Espn2 is currently airing the Auburn game and they have about 5 minutes left in the third, and the broadcast was supposed to begin 30 minutes.

Aztec starting QB out with injury. He is a true fresh.
Starting tonight will be redshirt freshman Javance Johnson from Oakland. He has only 3/4 snaps experience.
Javance is big and strong Billed as a dual threat QB with a strong arm.
We shall see.

Also, it was smart of them to air the Auburn and Cal games back to back. I'm sure they get some additional carry over viewers.

I had watched the other quarterback and was hoping we would play him. I thought Cal could do well against him.
Now we will see if Cal makes another backup quarterback look like Tom Brady.

Xfinity in the Bay Area has Cal on ESPN (724), not ESPN2 (725). Least on my schedule

You are right, I got it wrong.
Hahaha funny enough, but (for anyone who doesn't know) he's saying that OSU pitched a shutout against SDSU and we need our defense to put up a similar performance considering that OSU doesn't have an elite defense. If they are going to get blitz heavy are we going adjust our gameplan at all (screens, flat routes) or are we just going to let Mendoza get body slammed all game
