Cal also switched sidelines, so the student section is now behind the visiting team. It was a Pac-12 rule to not allow that to prevent 'incidents'.

It has to be the visitors being hit with cards. TBH, throwing things at the visiting bench should be a penalty.

He's like a budding Ott. He still goes down and loses footing with moderate touches, but he's getting better at that, too, really blossoming into a primary back, and really picking up the slack. Not having ott as a decoy tonight was hurting big time till the Jet established himself.
Just to be clear re: card throwing. I've never had an issue with it and it was never a penalty before. And teams like Tennessee didn't even get flagged for their mustard bs a few years ago but once they call the first penalty then cut it out

What little they are showing on ESPN makes me think it is better than expected, maybe 35-40k.

It'll probably never be called again, these refs are ***** That said, the fact that it didnt stop after multiple warnings and then even a single 15 yard penalty shows how little attention any of the students are actually paying to the game.

ESPN has been having issues with game tracker for Cal games. Same as last two games. Just completely cuts out.

The second was a 90 yard drive, nearly all through the air where Mendoza read the blitz and passed to the void.
