I know beggars can't be choosers and all, but I'm hoping our run game gets better. If we can run 150 ish yards a game, just to keep the defense honest. This running up the middle like last year won't work. We need some more speed. First game of season, I'd say we are doing better than we all expected. Let's focus on this 60 minutes, and worry about next weeks 60 mins tomorrow. Go Bears

Once again, solid all-round performance, PK, OL, playcalling and overall organization, for a patched up team and new O coaching staff. first game on the road in a hostile environment with a new Fr QB and lots of new faces could have been troublesome.

Sagapolutele is the real deal. Definitely looks better than Goff as a freshman, but so far better than AR in 2003 too. Just wish we retained our receivers from last year…
I've noticed that JKS doesn't step into his throw very much, yet still delivers a nice catchable ball with good velocity. While not ideal, it'll come in handy when he has to throw off his backfoot against better pass-rushing teams later this season.

You're allowed to be touching the receiver, just can't grab him or knock him down. He didn't actually grab, though I see how it could have looked like it in real time.
