I remember in the not too distant past, there was a push by some posters to have 1st Q thru 4th Q threads...thank goodness those days died.

Checking in from Cusco, Peru after a full day at Machu Picchu, but my heart and soul is with my beloved Golden Bears!
Tucson is not an easy place to play. I attended the game there in 2006 or 2007 when Cal had superior talent and was heavy favorite, but somehow did not come away with a W. It was the game that ref called back a TD by DeSean Jackson when replay clearly showed he did not step on the line and two yard LINE tacked our RB (Lynch?) and we couldn't punch it in for a TD. And then there was that heartbreaking U of A comeback. My heart aches thinking about that day in Tucson.
This time, let's hope our Golden Bears are ready and victorious.

He did step on the line, but you're right in that it did suck a lot. Its okay, sounds like you're having a good time.
At least 2 of the 3 lineman in front of Lynch were NFL guys too (Mack/De La Puente) unless subs were in or i'm off a year with someone. Still couldn't get in. + Lavelle's trip and the pick 6 (which happened after Cal had gotten 3 or 4 first downs on their last drive - after I promised the Bear's Lair I'd drink a pint for every first down Cal got. Not only did I get drunk as (noun) but we lost anyway.
We probably should agree not to mention that game again in this thread

Jackson did NOT step on the line because I was wearing Blue and Gold (every article of my clothing, even my shoes!) and as such I am sure that my eyes were right! And I had a heck of a tough time finding a taxi to get me to the Tucson airport after the game and I almost missed my flight!

I did the same thing once back in 2001! Have a blast, stay away from the cuy and don't drink more than 12 beers or you'll get altitude sickness-trust me on that. Go Bears!
