I can't decide which nickname is preferable: Slurkisian? Seven Gin Sark? Cutty? Tequila Steve?

THE DATE AND LOCATION: This is by far the most overlooked element of the receipt. The restaurant in question is located in Indian Wells, California. The date is March 11, 2012. That overlaps with the 2012 BNP Paribas Open, played at Indian Wells. And that means one important thing: Sark was tennis drinking. (Probably with Richard Gasquet, who lost in the second round to unseeded Albert Ramos.)

I wonder if his drinking buddy, Johnny Nansen aka "Johnny Patron",

More importantly, what we're all overlooking is that "Tequila Steve" was tennis drinking.

Whoever it was, Sark hit that... or tried to.

Let's be honest, you know you'd probably have a pretty good time if Johnny Patron and Tequila Steve rolled up next to you at the bar.

You gotta figure Tosh had a cool nickname too given how hard Sark wanted him both at UW and then at USC before he was told he couldn't have him. White Zin Tosh?

There are few things more sad than when a person loses self-control to an addiction and makes a public spectacle of themselves.
Frankly, I wonder what action Haden and USC's president (Nikias) will take. It will say volumes about how they treat people and handle this kind of public embarrassment.

Will he get a wrisp slap, suspension, fine or what? Many older Trojan fans never liked him and no doubt would actually like to see him gone.

Any bets on how long Sarkisian remains the Trojan's coach and Haden the AD?

That story referenced Gary Moeller's drunken incident that led to his departure from Michigan 20 years ago:
http://articles.latimes.com/1995-05-05/sports/sp-62736_1_michigan-football-coach
One thing I found astonishing there was that Moeller's salary, just 20 years ago, was $130,000...and Michigan was a hell of a lot better back then than they are now. Harbaugh's deal at Michigan now pays him $5M, plus a $2M signing bonus for a total of $7M, 53x more than Moeller made in 1995. Inflation would place Moeller's salary today at $203,000. College football spending really has gone insane.

Yeah- that was my reaction, too. These are never pretty...
I want to beat SC too, but the most important thing is that Srk get help. I hope they condition his employment on getting help immediately and continuing it as a condition of employment, and, keep quiet about it. I want to mock their beaten team, not a drunk coach.

I didn't know or care why.
Sambuca goes down so easy, straight or in coffee, then BOOM.
