he lost 3 OL starters. and I got no idea about this game that Tee Martin called. some super weird play calling, but hats off to WSU. they saw the issues USC was having and took advantage.

That's a false comparison. Sure if I were the Rams I'd stick with Goff instead of trading him and gambling on a rookie. But every other GM in the NFL is not making that choice. It's either Darnold, someone else (who?), or another position. If I'm a team that really needs a QB I'd chose Darnold over Rosen or Faulk. That's the choice. I'd probably choose UW's QB over any of those.

It's unbelievable how poor his decison making has been in 2017. He tosses up throws that boggle the mind with their stupidity.

Darnold looked good last year when he was surrounded by overwhelming talent...the same way Leinart, Sanchez, and Barkley looked good surrounded by overwhelming talent. This year the talent surrounding him is not overwhelming but it is still USC. They are still the most talented team in the conference. Yet despite this he has stunk. He is horrible. He needs overwhelming talent surrounding him like last year to look good.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. He'd be a good pick in the 5th round.

Going to echo what Dajo said about playing QB at a powerhouse program versus other programs.

Aside from Brady, which other top QB played at a powerhouse program?

The program is just a uniform but I do agree that playing with great talent, especially great receivers masks a lot of deficiencies. Darnold's poor fundamentals and playing backyard football all the time exposing him big time now.

He has always come off as humble to me. That kid has no quit in him and he will finally be rewarded for it.

When I think of the money Derek Carr has made….and never delivered a single playoff W…..and he has always had a mitten full of canned excuses, and shakes his head in disgust when one of his WR drops a ball, whether it was well thrown or not.
