Garbers has +7 yards passing, -16 in sacks. So our passing game has negative 9 yards.
Damn we can't crap on offense. Can't get a few first downs to get some momentum. Need to sustain a drive. The defense is playing with a short field every time. This is ridiculous.
The Oline is getting manhandled. Our defense will keep us in it, but the writing is on the wall. I miss the Todd Steussie days
Holding calls are killing us, the OL is struggling but the penalties are making it a nightmare
Somebody remind me again why Greatwood is supposed to be such a good O-line coach.

Man I don't know. UW is most often just bringing four against our OL and letting all the LBs play coverage first. When this happens, the OL is giving enough time to Garbers but Garbers is not hitting his targets well and whoever is targeted will have a LB right on top of him. Every now and then a couple UW LBs come and Garbers is not making a hot read and getting the ball out quick. A lot of this has to be on the offensive play call and play design. Some of it is an overmatched OL, some of it kind of looks like Garbers is slow reading the D or gun shy pulling the trigger.HoopDreams said:

Whatever is wrong with this O though, it is so so far from delivering success in the pac12 except against undersized DLs or a really bad secondary. It is too easy for a D to control what we can do with the ball and normally this will get worse over a season due to more and more film being out there for the opponents DC.
Now how was that not holding? Both linemen on the end tackled our defenders.

So this is what I mentioned in the offseason but people kind of blew me off on it, if our offense is AWOL teams will just pound it and our defense will eventually give out and we're toast.
