Gotta run screens and quick throws. Problem is that Garbers seems to have trouble throwing the ball.

garbers was running hard left. tough to pass with any kinda accuracy in that situation, and with the short field, I think it was the right thing to do
however perhaps we did have a receiver wide open. I didn't see it, but maybe a replay will show it?

So true. The last one the OL actually picked up, but he ran forward anyway. He has poor pocket presences.
And that false start penalty could/should have been on the defense since the defender moved first. Not sure if the defender moved forward.
Defenders are allowed to shift though as long as it's not forward.
We'd be better off if Bowers hadn't transferred.
Yeah that is a real bad indication. Maybe it's coaching to protect the fg but after the 2nd down run head down right into the rback of the right tackle I just don't know. Game looks too fast for him right now.JollyBear said:

My point is it doesn't matter what the play was when the blitz comes.
That isn't the first time this game. He either doesn't see it coming at all (every time) or can't figure something to do when he does see it.

I rewound the broadcast. Even if it was completed he's not getting in the end zone. Husky defenders were closing in.

Garbers needs to see the blitz better, a quick automatic throw to a receiver and he avoids the sack and may get lucky
