Yes and has been all season. A full step behind last season. Better than average but not elite for sure.
If not for Weaver Cal's defense wouldn't even be in the top half of the conference.

On that long pass. That was a terrible angle by Hawkins. The ball should of never been completed. This kid has been playing 3 flies up and we can't make a play.

Furd - yes, should beat
UCLA - Cal does really poorly in the Rose Bowl and it's a really bad matchup.
That was a 7 second play with 1 second of protection

Cal 17 is abusing Suc 8. He obliterated him on second down and then baited him on that third down and beat him by 5 yards. We threw deep for no yards.
Cal needs to exploit that. We did it last year when SC let us get in their heads. Oh well

Yep. If he would've undercut it, he could've picked that. Rare mistake by Hawkins. Everyone in the secondary is playing poorly.
