This game made is very obvious to me that play calling is not the problem. Execution is. To the extent that execution is a result of preparation and talent it is on Wilcox and Baldwin (and DeRuyter), but play calling is NOT what is holding us back.


Why expect Modster to "execute" on a RPO that is not his strength?

We need more speed at WR for Modster to throw deep. A couple games ago we had Davis at WR for ONE play? ***IT? It was a good idea, but need to try it more than once.

Wilcox went from the savior and right man for wonderful Cal to on the hot seat in 5 weeks losing tons of players to injuries including the QB. Why Athletic departments should never listen to its fans.

same old same old. we have no play makers on offense. our recruiting of skill position players rs very poor. our qb's are sub par and our wide receivers are sub sub par.

That's right. Think of all those horrible games under Dykes where the Bears would give up 40+ to SC and score 30 meaningless points at the end. Thank God those days are behind us, I feel sorry for the poor school that hired that guy!
