Yea - the baby bears have the same issue, but they've also had a game. They are a bit more prepared.
And Cal is not the kind of team that can just out-talent opponents. Under Wilcox we've succeeded by being disciplined and well-coached. No practice and no prep kind of throws that out the window.
UCLA probably has more raw talent than we do.

We have no speed on offense. They're bringing the house every okay. A trap or screen should work but the o-line can't hold them up at all.
I guess installing a new offense in 4 weeks just ain't happening

Sorry, I am using sarcasm as a self-defense mechanism to keep me from going nuts in 2020. In a calmer state of reflection, I will readily admit that the players and staff are giving it their all in trying times and it's actually pretty amazing that we were able to schedule this game at the last minute and actually pull it off.

for this personnel that was a crazy low percentage play. just zero separation anywhere. looked like Garbers could have walked to a first down.

Besides being the only available TV slot, playing the game in the afternoon would've just made a bigger window for players to test positive.
