Good for him! I think he had not been in over a year.

I thought da Kings was dead. Great coaching job by Mike Brown.

Didn't see that coming... what happened?!? Kings get virtually nothing from Sabonis, yet win going away. Warriors looked joylessly catatonic. I can see why* the courtside fans between the team benches and the scorer's table were in no hurry to come back for the 3rd quarter.
This was the time to bury 'em; now they gotta win on the road. Ouch.
* no, i can't, actually

I saw it on a replay the next day, after the L2MR was released. But so what? Refs don't catch everything. Especially when things are moving at that speed in real time. IMO, a tribute to Steph's otherworldly skill level. Deal with it. The Refs also missed Draymond getting clubbed across the face by Malik Monk on a fast break layup that cost the Warriors 2 FTs and an open, "practice" 3 pointer on the other end, as Draymond lay writhing on the floor underneath the basket where he had been clubbed. And the replays showed THAT clearly right afterwards. So no crying over spilled milk.

Suddenly Warriors defense will be stellar, Kings will miss a lot of threes and Curry-will go off.bearister said:

Okay, place your bets: Kings or Warriors win game 7.
I'm predicting same as before the season ended, Warriors would lose to whomever they got matched up against in the first round. They've not been consistent enough.
Kings.

You nailed it!
Sacramento scored its lowest point total in the series, shot 25% from 3 and Steph scores 50.

A page out of "smooth operator"....My team loses I get sex (maybe?)...My team wins the dry spell goes on....Hope you enjoy the Dubs win as much as I did----maybe more when its your only game in town...Haha.concordtom said:
My wife, who works with the kings for a number of years now and is heavily involved with many things Sacramento, has switched to Kings, but said the Warriors would win the series based upon experience.
I'm still Bay Area (!) and have watched every W's game the last 3 years.
As posted above, I predicted Kings would win.
So, my wife and I made a bet (actually, just me with her). If the Kings won and I was right, she had to have sex with me.
Looks like I'm going to be entering a dry spell.

If it's that long, then the duration shall be cut short. For a wise man once said, "man cannot live on bread and water alone."
Apologies, Big C.
I figure, sometimes a little humor sprinkled in spices up the norm. But maybe best restricted to OT.

Surely you did more, because with every brilliant bucket, though I raised my fists and gasped "Curry, you are the king!", I thought, "Uhg, I'm losing!"

You're right.
Next year I'm rooting for the Kings.
Gotta get my kings gear, sweatshirts, hats, etc. -she's already got the cowbell!
By the way, how does "wifeisafurd" do it?
Him's one smart guy, I admit. Elway used to shop at Cal sororities and walk in like he was king....Wife found one of the few dollies on campus....He's either directional or damn lucky....They usually only had five when I was a witness.concordtom said:
Yeah, except the other way around.
WIAF is getting shut out when the shears win, and a filet mignon when that school across the bay wins.
Guy's got it made!! He can't lose!!
Good story and recollection, bearister, but didn't the Warriors play and beat Lebron and his Cavs the next two years after that in the Finals, 2017 and 2018? (With Durant).bearister said:
