She can introduce all the crazy bills she wants. They will never even make it out of committee. This woman is a wannabe AOC except she's not educated nor compassionate.

Edit: Now that I think of it she's like Colorado's Sarah Palin

And Rap sheet long as the day

Ted Cruz gave this crazy lady $70K. Now that The Donald is out of office we can focus attention on who is really destroying this country. Don the Con was a danger but he had a lot of enablers and many of them are still in office.

Great take! Yeah, scientists and pharmaceutical companies would have sat on their butts and not noticed the pandemic and not really cared about curing it...unless the president said in such clear terms "Hey guys, go invent something."

Biden would have never thought of that. And of course the scientific community had tremendous respect for Trump and his deep knowledge.

You will say and believe anything. Did you hear that babies stopped crying during the Trump presidency? Did you know that God has stopped caring now that Biden is president?

Wouldn't Biden have demanded that the vaccine be provided by a company whose board is comprised mainly of persons of color, LGBTQ, and transgender folks? How would he be able to justify billions finding their way into the pockets of white people?

I bring up Warren because she has been very vocal about forcing boards of directors to be comprised of certain factions, especially workers. Actually it was California that just passed a law that requires corporations to comprise their board of certain ethnic groups: https://ogletree.com/insights/new-california-law-requires-diversity-on-corporate-boards-of-directors/

It's a great answer. You see, the Biden administration "follows the science", it takes years of testing to get something approved, testing is scientific after all. We'd have to wait at least 2 more years if Biden was president plus an extra year to address concerns that LMK5 brought up.

We could have a well-informed and interesting debate about the desire to increase diversity in board rooms across America, but it doesn't seem like you are willing or capable of having that discussion.

Circling back, the idea is that if we got all caught up in identity politics it's fair to say that developing the vaccine would have taken longer than it did. I'm not sure who the point person was, but whomever in the administration got it done will certainly go down in history as something of a hero. I'm sure the story of cutting through all the red tape and the groundbreaking success of Operation Warp Speed will be told in the near future. It is also possible that future vaccines will benefit from the Covid development model.

Sure, if. That word "if" is doing a lot of work there. I don't see the evidence that Joe Biden is particularly caught up with identity politics (at least not when it comes to something like this).

Elizabeth Warren has nothing to do with any of it, since she was never in line to be a leader in the COVID response. Including her in your point was tangential at best.

You are the only one bringing identity politics up. Maybe if people like you didn't get caught up in identity politics, the Republican government you elected would have actually created a vaccine distribution plan. But of course, the very fine people you elected only cared about creating a false impression of accomplishment prior to Nov. 4.

They always knew the rollout would be after the election at which point the Trump administration wouldn't have any reason to concern itself with actually administering vaccines. They barely concealed their disinterest in helping the nation through the pandemic. This was all quite obvious about the time that Trump focused 100% of his energy on stealing the election rather than actually addressing the pandemic. 232k people died before the election and 200k have died since. How many could we have saved if the Trump administration spent its energy trying to help the country rather than incite insurrection? Maybe that's a question you should be asking.

Oh, is that what Trump originally said about COVID? I remember this:

He never wanted to tell us things would get worse. He tried to downplay the disease from the start. Then he called it a hoax. I think I know which President is being more honest with us.
