Art is art and this art will be a financial safe haven. We will have token pieces by Hunter, George W. Bush and an AI operating as Bob Ross. We will also have finger paintings done by the Putin supporters on this board. Please continue to join me as we deify Saint Vladimir Putin.

I'm sorry, but that was available until last Saturday morning. It was gifted to CalLegends in hopes that it allows us to secure a top tier QB portal transfer.

We do have watercolors by Zachary Running Wolf that will be available this coming Tuesday in remembrance of the tree sit.

Russia is destroying Ukraine, by sending their military in and blowing stuff up. Not sure why people are confusing that for the United States.

We armed them and pushed NATO into Ukraine - even BHO knew that was a red line. The Minsk Accords were a fraud. The PMs of Germany and France are on record as saying Minsk was a stall tactic to prepare Ukraine for war. And American Big Ag is salivating over the prospects of cheap, world-class soil.

Then weeks into the SMO, a peace deal was reached between Russia and Ukraine - which we scuttled - via Boris Johnson. We wanted to "weaken" Russia. You know , Blinken and Sullivan were so smart... bomb NS pipelines and economic sanctions. We'll erase the memory of Afghanistan! s/

How did we make them fight if they didn't want to fight, and how did we scuttle a deal that they wanted? Did we tell Ukraine that we would not invite them to our next birthday party? No sure how we are some Rasputin making countries like Russia and Ukraine do things they don't want to do. We are just taking sides based on what we think is ultimately in our best interest but Ukraine can step aside anytime they want.

Even cross-dressing comic Zelensky ran on reaching a peace deal with Russia. So what flipped him? We know Ukraine is extremely corrupt, and hundreds of Billions in aid and military weapons opens up countless possibilities for Ukrainian oligarchs.

Diplomacy Watch: Did Boris Johnson Help Stop A Peace Deal In Ukraine?

"The news highlights the impact of former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson's efforts to stop negotiations, as journalist Branko Marcetic noted on Twitter. The decision to scuttle the deal coincided with Johnson's April visit to Kyiv, during which he reportedly urged Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to break off talks with Russia for two key reasons: Putin cannot be negotiated with, and the West isn't ready for the war to end."

My "narrative", or historical fact-based understanding? The bloodthirsty neocons and Progressives conveniently forget history. When the USSR imploded, we reportedly gave Moscow assurances NATO wouldn't expand one mile eastward. Yet that was ignored. Russia gradually rebuilt, and NATO expanded eastward, setting up a collision. The US / NATO want to be the only superpower, and appear more focused on Russia than China.

The closest analogy I can think of is Russia previously setting up shop in Cuba. Which was an existential threat to America.

Neocon Victoria Nuland and our CIA appear knee deep in all of it, including slaughtering culturally Russian citizens in Eastern Ukraine. Eastern Ukraine is also geographically valuable. Putin previously took back longtime Russia territory Crimea, which butthurts some.

NATO in Ukraine was a redline we purposefully crossed. Our leaders have publicly stated they want to "weaken" Russia.

The neocons and some on the left view Putin as some war thirsty leader who wants to vanquish all of Ukraine and then Europe. Not sure how he had such plans when he sent such a small force to Kiev. He also allegedly signed the peace deal that we (via Boris Johnson) nixed. He's a historic figure, he rebuilt Russia, and this proxy war appears to have made Russia stronger while exposing NATO as a paper tiger. We have no statesmen who can fashion an exit ramp, and talk of using nuclear weapons isn't verboten. Ukraine is now sacrificing grandfathers, and NATO and Ukraine can't even supply ammunition. It's sick. There is no logical path to victory for NATO / Blinken / Blackrock.

I'm gonna operate under the assumption that you are asking this question in good faith, unlike most of the other people in this thread.

The United States couped the Ukrainian government in 2014. Zelenskyy is a U.S. Puppet who ran on a fake peace agenda, but has operated a pro-war agenda at the direction of the U.S., personally enriching himself in the process. Most neo-cons (sycasey and Unit2Sucks chief among them) will not admit to these facts.

My issue with this war is that Ukrainian people pay the price for the foreign policy objectives of the guys who pushed us into the Iraq War. But because the Democrats are still mad about fake Russiagate, they support a foreign policy they opposed when we had a Republican president and Iraq as the enemy, but full throatedly support with a Democratic president and Russia, who they blame for their yasss queen not winning in 2016.

What is their opinion on the "ATO", Anti-Terror Operation, launched by the post-Maidan government in 2014 against the Donbass?

What is their opinion on the events of 2014, including the burning alive of 40+ unarmed russophone protestors in Odessa?

What is their opinion on Bandera, and the dozen + other figures from the OUN/UPA that fought with the Nazis that have been elevated as founding fathers and heroes of the Ukrainian nation in the last decade?

Quote:

Just out of curiosity, was it then Trump who put in Zelensky?
There was a lot of continuity within the State Dept when Trump took over, Nuland was still in charge of the Ukraine dossier, under Pompeo and co.

However it is much less likely that Trump would have allowed the situation to get out of hand in '22, the war could have been averted by reinforcing the Minsk Agreements, and it could have been stopped early on with the Istanbul peace negotiations.
