"Every single county recruits collaborators from the local population in war time. Their lives are ALWAYS in danger when the war ends. Normally the country that recruited them evacuates them to safety.

Except Israel. Who instead abandons them because they're not Jews and instead uses their executions to promote their narrative."

Why did Hamas and Trump agree to a deal which didn't include the children? Did his advisors shield that from him, or is this propoganda?

No idea about the details, but I suspect seeing emaciated, scarred kids coming back from long detentions and torture would be bad PR for the Israelis.

Interesting how radical Libs get worked up about Palestinian children, but ignored 250K to 1 Million British working-class children and girls being repeatedly gang r*ped and tortured over three decades.

They're supposedly for the poor and children.

Oh yeah. They're largely European. Racism.

So you're saying that Israel is still holding 323 Palestinian children and that Israel let them be surveyed about whether or not they had been tortured?

Yes, Israel is holding over 300 children, and yes, since they have been doing this for decades now, there has been a long established pattern of physical and mental torture on these child prisoners that includes rape.

Also, why is every post of yours on this thread is in defense of Israeli atrocities and genocide?? There is nothing more repulsive than so-called progressives shilling for Israel.

I've rarely posted in this thread and I don't support either side. Israel and Hamas are both evil. When I've posted to this thread, it's generally been to point out the logical inconsistencies in the claims people are making. If Israel is holding 323 children (they probably are), do you really think Israel is going to let some outside parties survey the kids about whether or not they have been tortured? It's very highly unlikely.

These outside parties have surveyed kids who went through Israeli incarceration after their release and were able to establish a base rate. Duh.

Have you ever pointed out "logical inconsistencies" or engaged in inane nitpicking about any of the claims from the side that is actually committing a genocide? Didn't think so.

The PR/Nobel Peace Prize Lobbying:

The reality:

"Two years of war are over, the exchange of live hostages and prisoners is complete, aid is flowing and bulldozers are arriving to begin clearing away the rubble.

But Gaza's future , who governs, who provides security, what happens to Hamas and to the Israeli occupation force, is unsettled.

In Gaza, Hamas has sent its security forces into the streets and launched a bloody crackdown.

Hamas has publicly executed alleged collaborators and has also engaged in firefights with rival militias.

Quote:

Thank you, Donald Trump. Thank you, Benjamin Netanyahu. Thank you, Jared Kushner. Let's all pause, shall we, and have a moment of appreciation for these three wise men who have finally brought peace to the Middle East. Blessed are the peacemakers!

And, of course, thank you to the Israeli military which, as a US taxpayer, I have done my part to help fund. To echo Kushner: "Instead of replicating the barbarism of the enemy, [Israel] chose to be exceptional."

It took exceptional restraint, I'm sure, not to level every single building and destroy all the arable land in Gaza. Instead only about 90% of homes are estimated to be damaged or destroyed. The school system has also been eradicated: according to Unesco-Unosat satellite damage assessments, more than 95% of school buildings require rehabilitation or reconstruction. The United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) has similarly said 97% of tree crops, 95% of shrubs and 82% of annual crops are gone.

It took exceptional humanity, I'm sure, not to kill every single child in Gaza. Instead a mere 20,000 children are dead, probably an underestimate, and an unknown number are rotting under 50m tonnes of debris. The toxic rubble is now home to the biggest cohort of child amputees in the world.
So, again: thank you, thank you, thank you.. .. .. .. .. .. ..

nowhere near over (duh)

My prompt for AI: Did Trump's Gaza summit share characteristics with other Trump business presentations that ended up to be con jobs?

AI Overview:

Reports on Donald Trump's Gaza summit in October 2025 and his past business presentations highlight several characteristics that critics identify as manipulative and deceptive, with some outlets drawing direct comparisons. These parallels include the use of misleading presentations, reliance on showmanship over substance, and the pursuit of self-interest.

Characteristics shared by Trump's Gaza summit and criticized business practices:

1. Misleading use of third-party names
Gaza Summit: A plan for Gaza's reconstruction, reportedly shown to Trump administration officials, included the names and logos of numerous companies, some of which stated they had no knowledge of or involvement in the proposal.

Business deals: This tactic mirrors previous instances, such as a New York civil fraud case where Trump and his company were found liable for inflating asset values on financial statements to deceive banks and insurers.

2. Emphasis on theatrics over substance
Gaza Summit: Media outlets and diplomats described the summit in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, as a "showbiz extravaganza" dominated by theatrics. During the proceedings, many leaders stood for long periods in an unorthodox arrangement, and observers noted a focus on spectacle rather than achieving a detailed agreement.

Business deals: Trump's business presentations and communication style have been described by linguists and others as rooted in his sales background, relying on emotional appeal, repetition, and a conversational, yet often disjointed, style.

3. Focusing on personal gain
Gaza Summit: Critics have noted that while the summit declared a new era of peace, the focus on leveraging trade and investment ignores critical political and humanitarian issues. Some have expressed concern that the plans echo previous attempts by Trump and his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, to turn Gaza into a "Riviera real estate bonanza".

Business deals: Concerns over using his position for personal enrichment have been raised throughout both of Trump's presidential terms. This includes licensing his name for products and real estate deals, with some foreign government-linked transactions attracting scrutiny. A civil fraud case also concluded he lied about his wealth to secure favorable loans and business deals.

4. A focus on deals and loyalty
Gaza Summit: The summit's outcome produced a ceasefire and a vague "declaration," but not a comprehensive peace treaty. Trump's personal style, focused on striking deals, reportedly led to an overestimation of potential concessions from other world leaders, as seen in his earlier summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Business deals: A central theme of Trump's business career, highlighted in his book The Art of the Deal, is aggressive negotiation. However, this approach, which prioritizes personal gain and can blur the truth, has been noted by business experts as potentially ineffective for long-term relationships and harmful to credibility.

5. Dismissal of accountability
Gaza Summit: Following the ceasefire, both Israeli and Hamas sides accused each other of breaches, with Trump's initial plan lacking clear enforcement mechanisms.

Business deals: In legal proceedings, Trump and his lawyers have repeatedly asserted that disclaimers on financial statements absolve him of fraud, a defense rejected by the court. In the civil fraud trial, the judge noted a "pathological" lack of remorse or accountability."
