False statement.

72,372,902 votes (48.1%)
and growing, as #1 population state CA votes continue to be counted.

Context ... I don't know who was buying what she was selling except "I'm not as bad as trump"

As I said, 72,372,902 votes (48.1%).
That's who.

Update: 73,115,813 votes , 48.2%
I was curious what things looked like outside of California and New York and was surprised by result. I knew it would have a big effect, but without them, Trump won the popular vote by 6.8 million. In 2020 Biden and Trump were essentially tied without these two. That happened because of the 8 million + votes the Democrats 'lost' in 2024, 7.1 million were in CA and NY. The pro Trump impact of Texas and Florida was substantially less.

Have no idea what this means; maybe less focus on the 'sure' states. I guess without the electoral college the campaigning would basically happen in CA, NY, FL and TX

Personally, my takeaway is I honestly question the true voter support for the Democrats current platform. I don't understand how so many supposed voters for Harris just disappeared from 2020. Moreover, the fact that the majority of the Democratic support came from states without voter ID laws is concerning. To me, that implies the current 73 million Harris vote tally is likely somewhat inflated.

Did you insert into your calculus the fact she ran for like 100 days, and is a woman who some do not perceive as capable?

Otherwise, brilliant logic, everyone who added on here!

I do find this amusing because I made the same case in 2020 when 74.2 million people voted for Trump, but the media and many liberals where I live kept saying nobody wanted Trump. I suppose the hashtag #notmypresident will be returning then?

By the way, does no one find it odd that Harris is missing nearly 8 million votes that went to Biden in 2020? Where did those go? And oddity #2, the only states Harris won required no voter ID. Very strange indeed.

Gosh, you must be on to something.
Biden cheated, right?

Pffft.

Probably not worth responding since you clearly have your views, but I originally did not subscribe to the idea that 2020 was stolen. Now, seeing the numbers and results after there was a renewed focus on election integrity, I do believe the Democratic Party manipulated votes in 2020 and I imagine did so again in states where voter IDs are not required.

1, There was a huge Dem voter turnout in 2020 to stop Trump. This was back when he was fresh on everybody's mind, wondering if people ingesting disinfectant would help against COVID. This year, he got the nostalgia vote, for those inclined to vote for him. Others stayed home.

2. States where ID is not required (I'm in favor of IDs to vote, btw) tend to be the very blue states.

Trump never said that. He was referring to actual light disinfecting the body, which actually has been experimented with as a cure for disease.

Wow.
I don't know which is worse:

A) thinking 2020 election fraud happened then, because Trump said so,

Or

B) thinking, now, 2020 election fraud happened because you saw the numbers and it doesn't make sense to you.

Classic whataboutism. What a bunch of liars, hypocrites, and morons.
I love how Roevember and others are constantly posting Twitter posts, justifying their vote. See! She shoved Joe out of the way and look what happened! As if any of them cared or predicted this.

This is interesting to me because I can't get one of them to admit anything about Project 2025. I can't get 003 to admit that Kamala has legal recourse to remand the electoral college counts back to state legislatures.

I don't mind the football being spiked but at least own what got you the W.

I looked back to see what you asked. I suppose as VP Kamala has a role in the vote certification process. I don't know why it is relevant nor why you are making a big deal out of it.
It is going to be pure comedic gold watching Kamala certify the electoral win of the guy she called a fascist.

Why is that funny?

Why wasn't Mike Pence on Trump's ticket this time?

This pretty much sums up the Left these days.

https://www.thefp.com/p/seth-moulton-democrats-trans-issues-trump?r=aiop6&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web

"We've worked so hard at becoming tolerant that we've become intolerant," Moulton, who represents the suburbs north of Boston, told me Wednesday.
The hate started exactly two weeks ago, when Moulton told The New York Times, in an article explaining why Kamala Harris lost, that the Democratic Party had become overly focused on trans issues.
"Democrats spend way too much time trying not to offend anyone rather than being brutally honest about the challenges many Americans face," Moulton told the Times. "I have two little girls, I don't want them getting run over on a playing field by a male or formerly male athlete, but as a Democrat I'm supposed to be afraid to say that."
Moulton's daughters are 6 and 3, and he told me he was talking about team sports they might play when they're older. When I asked what prompted him to make comments that he must have known would antagonize his fellow Democratswho have long adhered to the orthodoxy that trans women are women who should be able to compete in women's sportshe replied: "I was speaking authentically as a dad about a concern that I know other dads share, and we just ought to be able to debate it."
Since then, progressives have called him a "Nazi cooperator," "transphobic," and "offensive." Democrats have said he should resign. His campaign manager has stepped down. Massachusetts Democratic governor Maura Healey, who is gay, attacked Moulton for "playing politics." Even Jake Auchincloss, who, like Moulton, is a former Marine and now a Democratic congressman from Massachusetts, has distanced himself from Moulton's trans remarks. (Moulton declined to comment on Auchincloss.)
Meanwhile, the chair of Tufts University's political science department threatened to bar students from interning in Moulton's office, which prompted the college's high command to assure the congressman they still like him (Tufts is a major recipient of National Institutes of Health grants; probably not wise to lash out at a member of the Massachusetts congressional delegation.) Which prompted the editorial board at The Tufts Daily, predictably, to condemn Moulton.
"[W]e believe that cutting ties with Moulton's office is not a suppression of speech," the board wrote. "In fact, it is quite the opposite. It is our way of expressing our disgust with Moulton's brazen scapegoating of an already oppressed community."

I think they moved because the regulations were too stringent and the state of California is too unfriendly to the petroleum industry.

I understand but let's not confuse moving a HQ and a few hundred jobs with a company moving out of California. These companies love the sweet California cash flow. Their C-suite just doesn't want to pay California taxes. Who cares where the HQ is?
