You keep bringing that up as if it is relevant. How does that change the current facts? Are you saying it's cool to keep the docs classified because the other guys did it? I know that is not what you mean, but playing whataboutism like a garden variety lesser spotted MAGA is beneath you.

No, I am saying that it is hypocritical to turn this into a partisan debate, Obama and Biden were just as rotten as Trump, face it. Trump does deserve more criticism because he run on exposing the issue and lied, but you didn't care about this the last 5 years.

Of course it is a partisan issue. Trump and the GOP ran on exposing it, and now they control every branch of government and are doing everything to keep it from happening. "But Obama! But Biden!"

More examples of the perfect being the enemy of the good. This is the "Someone did X before we did X, so it's all good. It was like this when we got here so no need to fix" corollary.

You've posted on this board nearly every day in the last 10+ years from Kitsap with your retired handle, I don't recall you ever caring about Epstein. I've been posting relevant content on this thread and ripping into Trump, Patel and co since it became clear they were extending the coverup from previous administrations.

had the Trumpsters not made such a fuss about the files my guess is that the bipartisan coverup could have continued on its merry way. It's the exposing of a failed gotcha moment that makes this all the more enjoyable…oh and pedo thing

Yup, they insisted for years that once this Epstein stuff came out that all would be revealed about their political enemies. But now that their guy is in charge and still covering it up . . . whoops!

I thought the Epstein stuff was bad but always assumed that there wouldn't be much in the "Epstein Files" that wasn't already publicly known. The fact that Trump is continuing the cover-up to his own political detriment now makes me think that there is something big in there.

Yes, we all knew the cover up was bipartisan for a reason. But Trump lied to his supporters and said he would release the info. Anybody with a brain knew Trump was dirty with Epstein and he was lying but too many people are dumb(and a swarm of them are on this board).

So it is perfectly legitimate for us to hold Trump to his promises. This bs about Dems not pushing to release the files is beside the point. Trump lied to get elected. Funny his supporters don't care about that. Funny his supporters don't care he is all over the Epstein files. Funny his supporters don't care Trump raped girls.
