I seriously question Epstein dying of suicide.
It appears to be. But in the emails he sounds like someone both interested in fighting and also someone who needed to be silenced.
Here's a 60 minutes article link, and below that an AI response as to whether there was an autopsy.
https://www.cbsnews.com/amp/news/jeffrey-epstein-autopsy-a-closer-look-60-minutes-2020-01-05/Yes, an autopsy was performed on Jeffrey Epstein's body by the New York City Chief Medical Examiner, Dr. Barbara Sampson. The official conclusion was that the cause of death was hanging and the manner was suicide.
However, the autopsy findings and the official ruling have been disputed:
Official Findings: The New York City Medical Examiner's office stood firmly behind its determination of suicide, concluding that the injuries found, including multiple broken neck bones, were consistent with hanging, especially in an older individual.
Disputed Findings: A private forensic pathologist, Dr. Michael Baden, was hired by Epstein's brother, Mark Epstein, to observe the autopsy. Dr. Baden argued that the injuries, specifically fractures to the hyoid bone and thyroid cartilage, were "extremely unusual in suicidal hangings" and more indicative of homicidal strangulation.
Ongoing Questions: The circumstances surrounding Epstein's death in a federal prison cell, including serious irregularities in guard supervision and a previous apparent suicide attempt, fueled widespread speculation and multiple federal investigations into how the death occurred, though no evidence contradicting the FBI's determination of no criminality was found in one Office of the Inspector General report.
Ultimately, despite the disputes raised by the family-hired pathologist, the official cause of death determined by the medical examiner remains suicide by hanging.
