I would count it as a win at this point but not an overall win to the entire situation. I also wouldn't tout this as an achieved goal but it's basically a done deal. All that's left is time.

An independent data source called TankerTrackers said 4.63 million barrels moved through the shipping lanes on 9/2/26. The U.S. said 17 million barrels moved. On 9/1/26 TankerTrackers said 6.81 million barrels moved through the shipping lanes.

For those who are unaware, it's more about reliability of that flow than the current output. A week or two of consistently high numbers will yield a drop in oil prices.

Taking Iran pointers from someone who claimed Trump would be surrendering a month ago is probably not anyone's best bet.

The Brent November and December Futures Contracts aren't backing up your claim.

The Brent November and December Futures Contracts aren't backing up your claim.
In fact, they are reflecting the opposite.



Futures are backing up my claim that oil is starting to flow more and prices will drop.

Are we surrendering soon? Wasn't that supposed to happen already according to you?

So instead of addressing my fundamental point about oil pricing, you're now deflecting?

Can't explain why Brent Crude oil is up $12 since August 26th with all of these Administration "claims" of oil moving through the Strait?
