I'd put Trump clearly ahead in genocide and false payout promises departments with 2 years to go.
Never mind that at $5,000 for each American adult you're at $1.3 Trillion.
Congress will NEVER approve that.
More snake oil for his gullible followers.
What financial promises did Biden make and not deliver?
- Up to $125,000 per person for student debt forgiveness
- $2,000 stimulus checks
- $8,000 child care credit (only managed half of this amount)
- Free community college
- Free public college for families earning under $125,000
- $15 Federal minimum wage
- 12 weeks paid family/medical leave
- 7 paid sick days
- Section 8 vouchers for every eligible family capping rent at 30% of income
- Universal preschool for 3 and 4 year olds
Damn that's well over $1.3 trillion.
how's the "no wars" unkept promise working for you? Working up a pretty big tab and getting biglyier.
We are discussing financial promises made during elections. Let the grown ups talk.
Trump promised no new wars, that is a promise with huge financial consequences, in case you needed that to be spelled out.
We were discussing financial promises not kept.
If you want to pivot, we can talk about no new wars. This isn't a war, easy. No new wars. He's also been preaching for decades that Iran can't have a nuke. If you were paying attention, you knew this was coming.
Trump could have easily negotiated an extension of the JCPOA with Iran
Why would he have done that when he talked about how awful of a deal it was?
That's the problem, he shouldn't have locked himself into scrapping it without having a real plan for what happens next. Unless the plan was this, which seems to go against his "no new wars" campaign promise.
Anyone who voted for Trump should have known full well that Iran was an option if it presented itself. He was presented with a situation that he felt he had to act. None of us know what goes into the decision making of a president.
Trump jockeyed to gain Sheldon Adelson's favors in 2015 ahead of the elections. Adelson is the largest donor in history and only cares about Israel, Trump promised him to move the US embassy to Jerusalem and to allow Israel to annex the Golan Heights. In the most recent election cycle Trump promised him to scrap the JCPOA and to push for regime change in Iran.
I don't know the validity of most of what you just said so I'll repeat my previous response, Anyone who voted for Trump should have known full well that Iran was an option if it presented itself.
Because he said he was against wars and everything, he says is a lie?
Its already been said in this thread but no, because Trump has talked about keeping Iran from getting a nuke for decades.
There are a lot of versions of this that don't involve going to war in Iran.
I would bet a lot of money that when all is said and done, Trump's "deal" with IRAN winds up looking a lot like the JCPOA that he ripped up and withdrew from in May of 2018.
Never mind that he and his Defense Secretary had repeatedly told us that we "obliterated their nuclear capability" last Summer in Operation Midnight Hammer.
I would bet a lot of money that when all is said and done, no matter what happens, you will claim and Iranian victory.
Iran has already won with how they have shown they can control the strait.
