Recently heard a story on the radio about the history of Hawaii. They mentioned that most of the opposition to statehood came from the southern democrats who were concerned that Hawaii was too brown and that all of the US needed to be majority white.

You are right, I didn't get into all of the times Trump and his family and organization have been convicted or pled to fraud and other crimes, starting with his racist housing discrimination in the 70's, continuing with Trump University and his charity fraud, his more recent Trump Org tax fraud and the many many current investigations likely to result in convictions or plea deals.

4. Lots of characters were feeding different versions of this pee tape into the US system. Allegedly John McCain, Bruce and Nellie Ohr, other State Dept actors. Some old Clinton hands.
5. All of this chicanery was being aided and abetted by the NSA databases being aimed at the Trump organization. They were spying on everyone - illegally. The FISA warrants allow a 2-hop spying on anyone connected to the targets (Page was one). Outside contractors used the NSA databases to query and track movement, phone calls, cell phones, etc. It is alleged that FusionGPS and Crowdstrike were two of these entities. This was all covered in Judge Rosemary Collyers 99-page judicial filing. (60% redacted.)

6. An analyst at NSA discovered this illegal database use, Admiral Mike Rogers expanded the review, and subsequently shut down that external access. All of this intelligence power was being used against a political opponent. Michael Isikoff of Yahoo News wrote one of the original stories about the dossier / pee tape, and two years later backtracked. And primary subsource for Steele's fabrications, Igor Danchenko, didn't live in Russia. In fact, he came from the liberal Brookings Institute, and when the Intelligence Community realized he would expose the dossier lies, they threw a bag over him - i.e., made him a Confidential Human Source and paid him $400,000 to keep quiet.
7. A number of people were fired, but few prosecuted. Peter Strzok and Lisa Page. Andrew McCabe. Bruce Ohr. Attorney Kevin Clinesmith, who doctored some documents, was given a slap on the wrist. Later during the cover up (Mueller / Andrew Weismann purpose), 26 DOJ Federal Attorneys scrubbed 26 smart phones. All illegal and unethical.
8. Susan Rice penned an email to herself when departing the White House, saying that everything that was done was "by the book". Some allege this is a confession, and a CYA memo to self. She places all the major Obama Administration players in the room.
A text sent between Strzok and Page said "POTUS wants to know everything", a reference to Barack Obama.
Ironically, all of the FIB / DOJ officials who quickly exonerated HRC (illegally wiped, illegal home server, and hundreds of thousands of emails), moved on to the Get Trump Team.
9. Politics dictated that President Trump couldn't go around firing all these top officials as all these facts weren't known in real time. Mueller later came off like a bumbling fool who couldn't recall anything, possibly by design. The Devin Nunes memo was proven to be 100% accurate, while Adam Schiffs allegations were unproven.
10. During all of this, President Trump battled numerous Hoaxes and unprecedented legal attacks, like attorney's offices being raided. Dossier Hoax, Alpha Bank Hoax, impeachment, Obstruction of Justice Hoax, New York AG lawsuits, etc.
Objective observers see our two-track legal system. HRC gets a pass, while Populist Donald Trump gets a historic raking over the coals. Hi tech and the MSM aided all of this. Democrats then went after any person who worked for President Trump, and threatened various actions against any attorneys who worked for him. It's amazing he survived it all.
