That is kind of surprising:

Jill Stein at 4% among young voters, pretty significant. Gaza is a factor here.

And many are rooted in Catholicism / traditional definitions of things. There is an entire swath of the liberal social agenda that is at odds with that demographic.

Winning is the supreme value

Never apologize

Never admit being wrong

Losers are beneath contempt

Impatience is a virtue

Never let them see you sweat (Corollary: Never sweat)

A loud lie becomes truth

Poor people are losers

When hit, hit back harder

Label your enemies with unflattering tags and repeat relentlessly

Intimidate whenever possible

Humility is for losers

The bolded are not unique to Trump or Trump's side of the isle. And don't forget to also include Lawfare and the deep state on the D's side of the ledger.

The economy - inflation and the decline in purchasing power is also a factor. Ironically, purchasing power has been on the rise in Mexico and parts of central America, El Salvador for example is booming, net migration with the US in now negative.

Honestly, I would find it refreshing if a candidate said something like,,,

"Sorry, I know nobody likes to pay taxes, but I do not plan on lowering them. And I want servers in restaurants to vote for me, but I'm not going to pander to them. I support Ukraine and Israel, but we don't have unlimited money to give them. People need to understand that the annual budget deficit and the national debt are getting out of hand. Again, sorry, but that's the truth: Vote for me for telling it like it is!"

Yes!

I'd start with folks who go against their own party's beliefs. Dean Phillips is one. Even Chris Christie still hates Trump (last I checked) and is still a Republican. No one is perfect but geez a lot of these people are such shills. They are using the 'running for class president ' strategy: whatever I need to promise; it doesn't cost me anything.

Trump says he "has a very good relationship with both Zelensky and Putin," and that he "will end the war in Ukraine in one day" (if elected again).

But if he has such a good relationship with Putin right now, why doesn't he end the war today? Why does he want to wait to first be elected to end the war?

He hasn't articulated why being President would change his "very good" relationship with Putin, so why doesn't he leverage that good relationship now and prove he's as great of a deal-maker as he claims?

Edit: Answer is he won't do it because he's a liar and a fraud. If he could do it now, he would win the election and stay out of jail, which proves he can't.

Ridiculous. He can do nothing right now, because he is not President. He has no power. He has no control over our support of Ukraine. He has no chips in this game. What is he going to offer Putin or Zelensky? The executive suite in one of his hotels? Free golf at Doral or Mar a Lago for a day? Trump has to get elected, in order for either Putin or Zelensky to listen to him and agree to move an inch. Zelensky might cave to a bribe, with Trump spending his personal fortune on him. But Putin probably is richer (and certainly is more powerful) than Trump, and probably can't be bribed in that way.

Precisely. He can't end the war "in one day" now because he obviously has no skills in real persuasion (i.e., real "deal-making"), so he could never do it (even hypothetically) unless he had the power to threaten Zelensky.

You want the war to end on Putin's terms (and keep Trump out of jail)? Vote Trump!

1. Trump is a leader; Biden is a grifter now sadly using a sippy cup on a beach

2. Trump had no new wars and 5 peace deals

3. Not one American soldier was harmed in 18 months in Afghanistan as President Trump delivered a threat to protect American servicemen to the terrorist leader. (Sadly, his Swamp advisors and MIC shills didn't start removing tens of Billions of stockpiles of American military equipment in advance of a planned pullout)

4. President Trump also gave Vladimir Putin a stern warning to prevent an invasion of Ukraine
