The military is not the civilian world. The USAF sent out an announcement to the entire service last week saying there would be a renewed emphasis on uniform standards with regular uniform inspections because "even the smallest discrepancies cumulatively degrade our discipline and effectiveness."
So yes, in a world where the smallest uniform discrepancy degrades effectiveness a leader who leaves the nuclear football unattended and threatens national security repeatedly should be immediately reprimanded, up to and included being fired. When were we last "secure"? When did our boy Biden give a hoot about national security? He was a spectator as a Chinese Communist balloon meandered across our skies, while Joe did nothing but watch it go by. He finally shot it down when it started violating the security of the Atlantic Ocean.

I think Biden himself was and is a real threat to national security, at least simply by his inaction that allowed a little balloon to spy on us from above for 2 weeks, by his open border invitation to any and all bad actors, hostile enemy or violent criminal, by his action to pay Iran a massive ransom for hostages, thereby funding our only active adversary to conduct more of their war of terror on us and our allies, and last of all, just by nominating Lloyd Austin for Secretary of Defense.

Looking at this a little deeper, he was hospitalized for two weeks in the last part of December and early January. He was not put under general anesthesia. This report also showed, "that the review "found that at no time, was there a break in command and control" and "at every moment, either the secretary of defense or the deputy secretary of defense was fully prepared to support the president as commander-in-chief."
Austin acknowledged that he should have told the president earlier. But at no time was he incapacitated. A separate review by the Pentagon released last year concludedthat there was no deliberate ill intent by Austin or his aides to keep the hospitalization secret but did acknowledge the policies for transferring the responsibilities of the secretary need to be improved.
Again, I ask, you want to fire him with 69 1/2 hours to go before a new president is inaugurated??

Some police and fire departments would take the top scoring candidates, but then some cities changed to admit more DEI candidates. One method was banding, where they considered anyone who scored between 80 and 100 the same for the test portion. Los Angeles departments prohibited white applicants several years. I know fire departments lowered the physical requirements for women.
