Becsuse a trial by a jury of our peers is a fundamental guardrail against government stuff. Take a minute and read up on why England guaranteed jury trials to begin with

That's a really gratuitous oversimplification.

Many/most of these 3rd world countries do not have the governmental infrastructure to reliably provide the info that's used to vet people. That is likely applicable to all people who were allowed in from Afghanistan during Biden's withdrawal. It makes complete sense to circle back on everyone that was let in from A; it's reasonable to pause on future admissions until the system catches up with past errors/admittees.
