we're approaching another huge gameday turnout of true california golden bears for the stanford battle this saturday at 1:00 pm at haas pavilion
nobody got any excuses to not be there unless you're playing in the super bowl...if you haven't been to haas pavilion this season, just take the mid morning ferry ride from your leper island colony to berkeley, ok?...trust me, it will be fun screaming your hearts out
anyways as part of my ticket selling responsibilities (in addition to personally recruiting them diamonds ivan & jaylen along with schematic strategies re: entry/lob passes) i'm gonna personally be handing out posters of curvy brunette yoga females to all fans that go on calbears.com & buy the remaining tix(s)
yeah, and i'll even sign them too
let's do this (screaming from the rooftops)#

so i graduated from the haas undergraduate biz school & living/working in san francisco when in my 1st year out of cal that i went on a biz trip to nyc & boston
there's an evening ballgame at fenway pahk so i go talk **** with some chowdahead scalpers to work a deal outside of the stadium...the deal is worked & i got a great seat kinda behind home plate down the 1st baseline, let's be real here, the shockster is a great negotiator, he's that ****in' guy
so imagine the look on my face when my view of the field was this view (below)
the skeeze sold me a ticket which is clearly marked "obstructed view seat" on the back, of course, the way he showed me the ticket during our negotiations that wasn't clear to me
anyways i'm a glass half full kinda guy & ended up getting a inside tour of beantown from a townie afterwards (she banged out of work the next morning), think she was a sox addict
unobstructed views#

coach martin has offered combo guard (can play the 1 & 2) 6'4" 188 lbs don coleman, a freshman at lawson state junior college (birmingham, alabama) as part of cal's howlin' at the moon class (2016) with t-man
don has grown several inches after not being heavily recruited at butler high school (23.3 ppg) in augusta, georgia...yeah, the shockster has played 12 rounds at that pretty good course in his hometown...coleman originally made a commitment out of high school to florida atlantic but wisely decided to see if he could emerge as a prospect on a larger stage
https://vimeo.com/144524898
coleman is currently averaging 18.3 ppg including a lethal 42.9% on 3 pointers, a dazzling 82.2% on free throws, a physical 5.2 rebounds per game & 6.52 assists per game at lawson state
don got a 3.1 gpa last semester & was a full qualifier out of high school, he's got 3 years of eligibility
coleman is talking a lot with his lead recruiter coach webster (they've been building a strong relationship the last few months), not sure if tracy is gonna teach him how to dance but if that happens, watch out...he hopes to visit cal on an official visit after his season ends & make a final collegiate decision in march
don coleman got length, an active motor along with quickness, a sweet shooting stroke, a tough defensive mindset & most importantly got academic ambition...please note that this video is 2 years old & doesn't reflect his current height and/or skills imporvement

yeah, he might not be the last guy since jaylen (played with dc during a camp in high school) & shareef took a midnite train from georgia with a braves cap out to the west coast & fell in the california sun
the university of california, berkeley=#1 ranked public (#3 overall) university in the world (including georgia)

I have the fondest memories of being a jazz musician growing up in L. A., and playing in all parts of town, and dating a girl in East L. A. whose brother was a sensational drummer who was in my trio playing live on a jazz show for an hour on KPFA, and also playing gigs at Pomona College. Amazing the music that was going on in L. A. at the time, and the places it was occurring: South Central (of course), South Pasadena, the Valley, Venice, Duarte, Hollywood, Hermosa Beach . . .
