what this means for the bears: not much, usc is consistently among the bottom 5 teams among the major conference teams in college basketball attendance...i dunno why but nobody gives a **** about trojans basketball, galen center is a graveyard

usc is 19-9/8-7 & are a dangerous opponent with their offensive firepower, they can run & gun with anybody in the pac 12

the trojans are led by the dynamic guard duo of 6'1" 170 lbs jordan mclaughlin (13.0 ppg with 43.0% on 3 pointers, he needs to accounted for at all times, along with 4.9 apg) & 6'4" 180 lbs julian jacobs (12.2 ppg & 5.4 apg)...these 2 leaders are supported by former cal recruit 6'10" bennie boatwright (11.9 ppg & 5.3 apg), serbian 6'10" 230 lbs nikola jovanovic (11.9 ppg & 7.0 rpg), gunner 6'6" 215 lbs katin reinhardt (11.6 ppg) & 6'5" 180 lbs elijah stewart (10.3 ppg with 42.2% on 3 pointers)

the bears cannot let today's huge gameday in berkeley detract from the task at hand, defending the trojans with relentless energy & attacking the basket...usc can score points in bunches but they can exploited inside & they do not play fundamentally sound basketball for 40 minutes, cal can physically wear them down with blue collar basketball

everybody gotta remember what makes this year's california golden bears so successful in defending haas pavilion, it's not about playing perfect basketball & never making mistakes, that's not gonna happen...it's all about sharing the genuine love & brotherhood they share with each other, it's about playing like little kids playing basketball at the playground with their best friends...this team is at their best when they are smiling, making lots of noise & playing their hearts out, basketball is a game & it's a lot of fun

Favorite part came just before the end. Jaylen and Ivan were asked if they felt like they are no longer freshmen anymore. They talked about how they've played so many games and had so many practices, they know they've grown up a lot. And then Ivan threw out, "and Roman, Roman's gonna be really good next year!"
