^^ if markeisha had any marketing sense (and she don't) then the oppenheimer family would join the referees for the pregame coin clip at mid field of memorial stadium before the oppenheimer game

I still remember when we got a commitment from another highly regarded 6'6 tight end from Southern California.

His name was Tony Gonzalez. He was one who met and exceeded the high school hype. A great Golden Bear...

salt lake city got nothing to offer to the monster...mediocre non diverse culinary food choices, 1970's inspired cartball golf courses in lookalike housing developments & ugly azz brutalist cubic government architecture (tho the mormon temple lit up at night is majestic in its grandeur)

utah got a friendly fanbase on gamedays (so does nearby byu which gaveaway all visiting cal fans a free container of vanilla (interesting choice, no chocolate which is shocky's favorite) at halftime) but honestly they will fit in well with the big 12 truck stop conference next year

the monster is NOT gonna be in salt lake city tomorrow (fun yoga in the outfield at talking stick fields in the morning instead), the 2024 acc fall football gamedays & eastcoastie world class golf roadtrips cannot happen soon enuf

"smells like ass, **** apartments"

the truth re: cam rising's injuries, wow, this remarkable quarterback talent is way more messed up physically that anybody imagined

will rising be cleared by his personal doctor in la & also the utah medical staff for the cal game on october 14th at noon in salt lake city?

the monster's take is that he's taking a huge risk with his potential nfl future by coming back too early & reinjuring the extensive damage outlined in the above article

reality is that the utes without cam got a pretty mediocre to average offense, if he's not cleared and/or injured again this historically challenging road game in a hostile venue is winnable
cam rising update: interview with his orthopedic surgeon with direct quotes (with rising's permission per hipa laws)
https://theathletic.com/4946102/2023/10/09/cam-rising-utah-football-injury-return/?amp=1

my take is that cam will not be cleared for this saturday's game, the utes are averaging only 19.2 ppg this season without rising

potential signature win of the wilcox era#
cam rising update: he wuz at practice earlier this week but not participating

less than 1% of cr playing saturday (so ur saying there's a chance!)#

^ successful coaches find a scheme that is working & then drive it down the opponents ******* throats until they adapt & stop it otherwise they just relentlessly bury them with the same calls

that's not happening in berkeley right now, just 2 pitchouts in the game which is more than any other game...javid best rushed for over 1000+ yards on pitchouts

and the jet wuz successfully featured early & then disappeared

finley & hunter wuz not on the same page on multiple routes, ben gotta tendency to stare down his targets & not go thru his progressions

reality is that nando is gonna be qb1 for the next 3 & a half seasons in berkeley (zero chance he's gonna transfer/flunk out), looking forward to seeing his continued exuberant development

and after the tipped ball interception (which is wilcox's worst nightmare) the play calling got predictable again with the impotent wide receiver screens & continued failure to attack the middle 3rd of the field

luv my bears but the current offensive play calling is abysmal, the staff got 2 weeks to figure this out

He is only a Cal because he wasn't going to get a run at UW. They have dynamic and explosive receivers. He's a very pedestrian receiver who had a couple of crucial drops.

We brought Spav back for this?????

JW's job was to fix the offense over the offseason. We are in shambles again with a mediocre D as well

Utah had the ball for 38 minutes and rushed for 317, offense was not good but defense was horrid.

alky, agreed taj gotta haul in the fingertip catches & also improve his ball security but the reality is that he's the bears only receiver that constantly finds a way to create separation & get open in space...part of the problem for the wrs is the play calling which predictably targets the perimeter which allows defenders to cheat to the sidelines in coverage

i luv talking to the effusive taj davis & luv watching him make plays (both good & bad) on the field, he's my guy

the huskies got a couple of future nfl receivers, that shouldn't be leveled as a criticism of the explosive tajmania

archery practice (7 catches for 93 yards)#
Shocky1
How long do you want to ignore this user?
stykur, the reality is that this staff is not particularly imaginative starting with the head coach

the utes had a running game problem this season, future hall of famer head coach kyle willingham then innovatively schemed for his all american safety to take snaps this week at running back & sione vaki rushes for 158 yards in his 1st college game while playing both ways

the bears got an all american running back in jaydn ott & got him only 2 pitchouts for 23 yards, he should be receiving a dozen pitchouts a game in space on the edge ala javid

the bears got the jet from oakland, he makes a couple of nice turbo dieseled sweeps & then disappears from playing the rest of the game

successful people in all walks of life are adaptive & creative, kyle willingham gets it

goldy, strykur & sycasey...the cal media r kinda worthless in their weekly press conferences with the coaches, one softball after another

would be interesting to hear coach sirmon's explanation of why he didn't stack the box every time sione vaki wuz on the field?...how many converted safeties that learn a couple of running back plays in a couple of days of practice have ever completed a pass in a college football game?

should've had 9 in the box but that's not how the shoneys bend but don't break at the waistline d works, got it?

We are undersized. We do not recruit enough quality and depth on the DL. Then we get mowed down by teams like OSU and Utah, with guys going up against bigger, stronger players and surprise? They get hurt. And we get even smaller.
