Clarity is coming. Garbers gives us better versatility. Bowers is pocket & hand off, no more
Low-key, team has been doing well avoiding penalties. Dunno how much of that is skill and how much is luck, but it's definitely a plus.

And with this offense, we need all the trickery we can get

This is partly a QB issue, but the lack of speed at WR is also part of the problem. We really need a WR who can stretch the defense. Right now NC's defense has 7-8 players within 7-9 yards of the ball when its snapped. They don't fear our passing game at all and figure they can get away with man coverage.BearRaidNation said:

Both caused by the pass rush. The NC QB has a habit of throwing the ball a bit too hard when under pressure and expecting a hit.LACalFan said:

I hate to be negative about a decisive victory over an ACC opponent but if your line and qb play aren't better we are gonna be really bad in conference.
I get a feeling that next week we'll see some big improvements in both the OL and QB play. I did see that on that last drive it was the 2nd string OL in there on the last 2 plays (which included the sack). The coaching staff appears to be experimenting and substituting freely.tim94501 said:

Gotta agree. D is good but won't carry the team in conference play. Poor O could even be an issue next week against BYU.
