Fabulous game. Several times it appeared Beavers were letting it slip away. I thought the officials let the Cowboys be pretty hard on the Beavers.....and I still don't know how the Beavers are supposed to guard, without fouling, a point guard that picks up his dribble at the FT line on a way to a layup.

Free throws matter. Ethan Thompson went what like 13/14 from the line? They needed all of those to keep Oklahoma State at arm's length.
Totally. I love senior PGs who take care of the ball and make their free throws. I haven't checked the stats but it seems like each of the P12 teams has been lights out from the line.KoreAmBear said:

Agreed. It really is a critical skill for a PG to have if you are going to get the tough wins.

Allowing men to compete against women while invading their locker rooms and bathrooms has to rank as one of the most outrageous and preposterous ideas ever conceived by mankind.

They look like they might be too small, but they switch and swarm like crazy and can jump out of the building. More than enough to make up for it, even against a player like Garza.BulaBear3cubs said:

Pac-12 now 8-0 (including the VCU forfeit). I've noticed that in a lot of these games they look like they're just plain out-working the other team. Getting to the loose balls, moving well off-ball, etc.
maybe there was a reason our record in League play was worse this year, pretty good league and I believe we played more league games than anybody. Hope other Pac-12 teams lose a lot for next year!

Maybe we can make Gonzaga an honorary Pac-12 team, since they are a Washington school.
Abilene Christian looks like a rec league team replete with a guy with a dad bod, skinny dudes and nerds. Like the Old School frat IM team. But they scrap!
