This entire premise is BS, no one is starving in the Donbas, the population there is supported by Russia.
The pensions that women over 55 and men over 60 receive in the Donbas, Mariupol and other regions recently annexed into Russia are now higher than what they used to receive from Ukraine, and those pensions have been cut by Kiev years ago.
There is no equivalency whatsoever between what Israel is doing in Gaza and what the Russians are doing in Ukraine. The Russians have been rebuilding housing, schools, hospitals in places like Mariupol, while the Israelis are going out of their way to destroy these facilities and starve the Gazans, in addition to bombing, targeting and executing civilians (doctors, patients, children).

Russian intervention in Syria was a turning point that saw ISIS getting crushed by its air force.

Russia has not deliberately targeted civilians in Ukraine. Wiki states 10k-16k total civilian deaths caused by Russia. assuming that is true, that figure represents about 2.5% of total killed by Russian armed force, which is a remarkably low percentage, almost unprecedented in modern warfare.
Israel by comparison has killed 2 to 3 times more civilians (your statement above is false!) and those deaths represent well over 90% of their kills, as they have been deliberately targeting civilians. That much is abundantly clear, as illustrated by the latest massacre in Al Shifa hospital where they have executed doctors and patients including children. Or in their targeting of 3 separate cars carrying western aid workers.
No comparison whatsoever.
