Just giving you the truthful information so sorely needed.

So are you not seeing what is at play here ?

Maybe it's because I refuse to believe you cannot do better.

White men killed a black youth in Mississippi in 1955. They lied about it and were acquitted, later admitting they did do the murder.

A 14 year old white boy kills a 13 year old white girl in Florida in 2021, is convicted, and sentenced to life in prison.

What is your point? What was his point?

The school has it right. This is terrible parenting. The parents should be teaching their children to behave and follow instructions to earn rewards. Instead, they are doubling down on teaching nonconformity and entitlement.

You are telling on yourself again. Head so far up your arse you can't even see what the problem is but that is by design to reproduce your mindset.

Can you elaborate on how I am telling on myself again? Please try to use specifics instead of generalizations and catchy words and phrases.

To be honest, many of us on this forum have grown tired of you casting stereotypes and generalizations onto people that have had nothing to do with slavery.

For example, you've repeatedly told me that I owe reparations to African Americans.

But as I have told you, my 4th generation California roots (on my Mom's side) had nothing to do with slavery and my Dad's side of the family came from Germany. In fact, as an American he lived there for 5 years (ages 8 to 13) during WW-2 and made it out of Berlin just before the Russian's invaded.

You seem to wake up every morning "angry" at the world and playing the "victim".
That's a terrible way to go through life.
It really is.

You probably dont want to hear this, but the CHANGE that you want to see has to come from YOU first.
Otherwise, you're on your way to being a terribly unhappy person for the rest of your life.

Good Luck to you and your journey.

Pot calling kettle black … pun intended

Well we can solidify adding you to that list. If I see a spade i am going to call it a spade. We clearly know the concept is foreign to you but any who.

I guess when you have never been told you are wrong you have no concept of "staying in your lane" you lack basic comprehension skills. I don't know why you continue talking to me… move around.

You are defending a racist… what does that make you ? Thus why are complaining to me ?

You do know you could ignore me or say nothIng but your privilege doesn't allow that …

Sad example of a Berkeley grad

Another cool story.
YOURE TERRIBLY BLIND.

I have African American friends of mine from my days walking onto the Cal Track and Field team in 1980.
Some of the longest standing friends that I've had in my life, spanning over 40 years.
Teammates.

I've repeatedly shared my love for Track & Field in this forum and just recently honored sprinter John Hines who passed away earlier this month at age 76. - - - I dont know of any "racist" that would do such a thing, do you?

I simply offered a narrative that you seem to fall prey to.
Playing the victim, which you have quite the talent for.

What ways should they have handled the poor behavior. They clearly, specifically, and repeatedly warned the students and parents that their children wouldn't be able to attend the graduation ceremony unless they improved their behavior. Should they have failed them instead, so they'd have to repeat the 8th grade?

Schools have lots of ways to deal with discipline. Depriving kids the celebration of graduation even though they have earned it is just mean and counterproductive.

1) They tried other forms of discipline.
2) The school gave the students and their families the clear warning that they would not be able to attend graduation unless they corrected their behavior.
3) they didn't
4) The school gave the students and their families the clear warning that they would not be able to attend graduation unless they corrected their behavior and gave guidance on how to do such.
5) they didn't
6) the school follows through with the consequences, so that hopefully the children will learn the natural and logical consequences of their behavior
7) the terrible parents disregard the school, make a big deal, effectively reinforcing their children's poor behavior.

The true victims are the other children who endure the behavior of the poorly behaving children, as well as the poorly behaving children who don't learn the consequences of their behavior due to poor parenting.

Having authority means using it judiciously. I hope the parents use that experience to teach kids to question authority.

I hope you don't work with kids. This isn't an instance where questioning authority is justified, even if we do want to encourage curiosity and not blindly following rules. It is an instance where these children need to learn the consequences of their actions.

There's nothing wrong with pointing out problems across the 332 million people in our nation. It is your overbroad racist conclusions that are problematic. It is equivalent to me posting articles about black people committing violent crimes and then concluding they have violent tendencies, and we should do something about it.

Being born in August, my son is young for both his school class as well as his soccer club. If he doesn't eat his lunch at school, don't worry son, it's not fair, you are younger than the older kids. If he acts out at school, don't worry son, it's not fair, you are younger than the older kids. If he gets a bad grade, don't worry son, it's not fair, you are younger than the older kids. If he struggles in soccer, don't worry son, it's not fair, you are younger than the older kids. If the principal calls me, don't worry son, it's not fair, you are younger than the older kids. Those older kids were born on third base. I am going to complain to everyone about how my son was born in August and is so much younger than most. Anyone who disagrees is an ageist. Does that sound familiar?

Also, I am not your chief.
