One thing that is consistent with the resistance liberal outrage over the Trump era is that the things that get the most attention are things that bother the upper middle-class and higher income ranges of the liberal elite. They don't care about the continuing income disparity issues or the fact that the unemployment rate is completely cooked or that most folks can't afford to pay for healthcare or a house. Those things, if they are ever brought up at all, are merely used as a cudgel to highlight the other party's failures while completely ignoring their own party's failures on the same issues when they are in power. It's real important stuff like construction on the White House or the reflecting pool or that a media organization can't go to press briefings. Those things aren't unimportant, but they are given outsized importance.
