At this point I think it's most likely that both Trump and Putin are in over their heads. Neither expected it to go this far.

Did you go to imprecision school with Trump? You left out "as reported." The quote was "The story that came out tonight as reported is false."

If Trump didn't divulge classified information to the Russians, McMaster would have said so, but curiously he didn't. The story didn't say that Trump divulged soures, but did say Trump mentioned the city and that if you knew the city you could figure out the source. Why didn't McMaster refute that statement specifically?

It has been entertaining watching this thread and all of the opinions dressed as rhetoric. Most of it is pretty far off. Not sure I can articulate or agree with Odonto's political worldview - simply because I am not paying attention to specific avatars, but his comment stands out as the most accurate in the 30+ pages of posts.

Hilary seemed like one of the most unelectable personas decades ago. Guess what, nothing changed since then. The fact that she won the nomination and lost the election is just more of the sideshow.

Hillary has always been so... so... uppity. Just last week, I stayed at home and baked cookies and what's wrong with that?. She always thought she was better than me. Unelectable is right.

Now Donald Trump, there's a guy that's electable, apparently.

The irony that someone who supports this admistration, headed by the whinniest, most thin skinned, easily triggered man of them all uses the term "whiny snowflake" is almost sad.

And Hilary gets the blame for that why? You do know that Newt Gingrich was having an affair as he prosecuted Bill for having his. I could care less about their affairs, just like I could care about JFK's and Roosevelt's dalliances. Hell, I don't even care about Eleanor's lesbian affair. I'm sure you don't/didn't either. Or did you? Yet you lose sleep from what Monica and Bill did. Why is that? Are you jealous?

Didn't bother me a bit. Show up for work and let's measure your results. But then, I was commenting not on the events but the rational of morality on each/both sides. Same/same.

A little bit off topic but maybe they should have let Coulter speak. Might have surprised them.

http://theweek.com/speedreads/698965/even-ann-coulter-thinks-trumps-presidency-been-disaster

In an interview Sunday with The Daily Caller, Coulter admitted that she is "not very happy with what has happened" in Trump's presidency. "It's just that it has been such a disaster so far," said Coulter

She said that "everyone who voted for him knew his personality was grotesque," but they'd been banking on Trump to act on the issues — and so far he hasn't. "It's not like I'm out yet, but boy, things don't look good.

However, she admitted that if "we just keep going to New York," she'll have to say the "Trump-haters were right." "It's a nightmare. I can't even contemplate that,"

Several years ago I was having a conversation with my primary care physician, and she recommended a stress test to establish a baseline for me. I asked what that would cost. She replied "I don't know, you'd have to call the business office, but they probably wouldn't be able to tell you either." I declined to have the test.

You were the kind of patient that any health care needs. You participated in the cost, so you were asking about it. Without that all is free and no one cares about the cost. Ends with little complaint, little cost control.

One way to tell if the Trump gave the Russians classified information is to subpoena the tapes he has alluded to previously. You can't make this **** up. Who the hell is feeding this President of all people, fake news? It's like giving a monkey a hand grenade. Good thing somebody stepped in and took the hand grenade away before it went off.

That would mean we were taping that meeting with the Russian ambassador. How's that for espionage?

Eh, Coulter says all kinds of things. On the day before election day, she said on Twitter that Trump and Pence weren't even qualified to vote.

(Trump has ZERO grandparents born in America. Pence has three.....Obama has two. Hillary has four.)

if a field goal kicker kicked trumps head hard enough, is it possible to decapitate him and send the head thru the goal posts?

that would be an interesting experiment and good for the country

I wasn't so much concerned with out-of-pocket costs; I wanted to know how much PAMF planned to overcharge my insurance company. I love it when I'm encouraged not to care what anything costs because insurance is taking care of it. When my insurance is overcharged for something, it's all those other suckers out there who foot the bill for me; when some other person gets overcharged, however, I'm part of the group of suckers who gets to overpay for them. We all pay the bill with higher insurance rates and out-of-pocket expenses. Anyway, more transparency would help, as would more local competition (or just a switch to Medicare for all). We small business owners were getting screwed over on this long before the ACA.

(I did recently have a stress-echo a few months ago, and everything's fine)

FromGQ 2-1-17

"The concept of a "snowflake" as a derisive term first entered the cultural zeitgeist in Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk (the irony of staunch conservatives using language popularized by an openly gay author who writes shock-value stories about debauched sexual experiences is overlooked.) "You are not special," Palahniuk's protagonist, Tyler Durden, told his herd of anarchists, "You're not a beautiful and unique snowflake. You're the same decaying organic matter as everything else."

The term "snowflake" did have another slang application: according to Merriam Webster, "In Missouri in the early 1860s, a 'snowflake' was a person who was opposed to the abolition of slaverythe implication of the name being that such people valued white people over black people." The meaning has more or less swapped. Nowadays, someone with a Confederate flag in their profile picture is more likely to be the one calling someone else a snowflake. (There is also a rumor that "snowflake" was a term the Nazis used to refer to the ashes of people incinerated during the Holocaust; this has been debunked by Snopes.)"

Fight Club is a terrific example of conservative men reading something that is clearly meant as satire and taking it literally.

Co-pay of some sort is the only way. Other wise costs are too great. Patient participation in their own care given.

1. We KNOW that Manafort, Trump's initial campaign manager was paid millions by the Russian Banks via Ukraine.
2 We KNOW that Flynn Trump's top national security aide (both during the campaign and after the election) was receiving money from Russian Bank's under the control of Putin.
3. We KNOW (from Trump's attorneys) that Trump sold real estate assets to high Russian officials of at least $185,000,000 over the past 10 years. We KNOW that millions and millions of dollars in real estate sales were made to LLC's with undisclosed equity holders and that many of those equity holders were reported by Trump's associates to have been Russians.
4. We know that Manafort, Flynn and Trump were all very much in favor of removing economic sanctions from Russia.

That sure sounds like "quid pro quo" to me.
