SHS states that T reads more than anyone she knows. Any Republican who believes that (and there are many) should be shot (with a tshirt canon loaded with shiit). Enough.

Once a LIAR, always a liar.
I have it on really good authority that Grump doesn't read important documents. He does like maps and graphs.

So SHT must know totally illiterate people.

Nancy Cook has written article at Politico called "Forget the Oval. The Real Action is at The Residence".

Yeah, he's busy gathering all documents, servers, evidence there, and then he's gonna burn down the place!

" The notion that Trump is a ruler of less-than-perfect Christian values sent to benefit the godly a second King Cyrus, perhaps is common on the religious right.

His own religious commitment seems questionable in the extreme but the thrice-married, porn star- and Playmate-paying, p@ussy-grabbing, customer-defrauding, disability-mocking, race-baiting, Nazi-sympathising, oft-bankrupt, impeachment-threatened president counts evangelical Christians as a key bloc of support." Martin Pengelly, The Guardian

We all have seen what happens when we start idolizing false gods.

Our hearts are inclined to worship, and what we choose to worship will dictate where our hearts and minds go.

We sometimes see this with parents who have decided to idolize their kids and rationalize compromising their alleged "progressive" viewpoints and use their riches to keep their kids elite while suppressing those who are poor and cannot buy their way into college admission.

We are seeing this with Lindsey who is worshiping his reelection so much that he is sacrificing at the altar his prior values, character and friendship.

Truly sad to see. McCain would undoubtedly be so disappointed with how he has given Trump a pass on everything, including eventually even the withdrawal from Syria.

Judge: "Stated simply, the primary takeaway from the past 250 years of recorded American history is that Presidents are not kings."

Really seems like once McCain died, Graham needed someone else to suck up to and unfortunately chose Trump.

The only place the Orwellian spin of the right can go from here is: Russia is a good ally. They have always been a good ally.

It's not only Putin's marching orders, it's the only logical defense and way out of all of this.

Watch the traitors turn to the new and final position...and watch the Trumpers rationalize this as true and good. A complete unequivocal surrender of truth, values, and country.

They were a semi-good ally during WWII until they made a move to take over Europe. Yep, really good.

It'd be like burning up the RNC's cash reserves for nothing.

Though, what about the air pollution it would create?

Give me a clue here. Should this be in the "Breaking News" thread? I'm losing track.

This is so wrong in so many ways:

The IG report will reportedly debunk the assertion that the FBI was spying on the Idiot in Chief's presidential campaign. The wall keeps getting torn down and the Idiot in Chief is exposed more and more. With Gollum saying he has insurance and the Idiot in Chief saying he doesn't know what Gollum was doing in Europe, it is just a matter of time till things come to a head. Lets not forget that Gollum on national tv advised that the Idiot in Chief was his only client while meeting with Ukrainians who were arrested while trying to leave the country. One of the men arrested reportedly handed over video and voice recordings that are now being reviewed by the Justice Dept.

I stated this elsewhere, but what is LESS likely: God chose Trump to be the Chosen One, or God chose Rick Perry to to know that God picked Trump to be the Chosen One?

The whole "God chose a flawed man" thesis is so FKing stupid. By that standard, EVERYONE can claim to have been chosen by God.

And really, the the omnipotent, omniscient being is like "hey, curve ball, I'm going to pick the worst representative of my values to carry out my plans. You know, just o confuse everyone and make it that much harder for my plan to be believed and followed. It would be way to simple to chose a really smart and ethical person who inspires everyone with their charity, kindness, and goodness."

If you are so stupid to believe this justification by the person claiming it, you deserve to be conned: "Yes, I know it looks like I am robbing the bank, but really I am...uh...carrying out God's plan to make me rich. He works in mysterious ways, doesn't he?"

I would like to hear a religious Christian weigh in on the theory that Trump is chosen.

On the one hand I see the argument that god is all-knowing and of course controls everything that happens but that reduces the argument to absurdity.

No one argues that god chose Obama. No one argues that murderers should be free from prosecution because god chose them to murder. I haven't even heard anyone defend the Catholic Church by claiming that god chose them to sexually assault thousands of children.

So I guess my question is, ok so even assuming god chose Trump, how does that change anything?

But would still be interested in hearing what practicing Christians believe.

Actually, I have seen a number of occasionally rational people state that the Lefties claimed Obama was the chosen one. When questioned about that, they reply something like "It was everywhere! You couldn't miss it!" Sometimes they would quote someone who got caught up in the euphoria of the 2008 election night, but that's about it.
