I'm disappointed the KEO made the decision to leave. But this is how the game works these days. And FWIW while not quite the same as a Cal degree, UW is a good school. I have worked with several UW grads over the years and have a close associate that is a UW grad and Husky donor. The UW grads I worked with are fine people and many live quite well. Cal is not the only place on earth a great education and terrific relationships can be found.

His draft stock may or may not go down in Seattle. But if Cal wants to win more in football the NIL money will need to increase. That is where recruiting is these days.

I don't like it but it is what it is. Cal can continue to push its 40 year decision and continue to be mediocre or they can include a robust NIL program with the 40 year decision and win more. Nothing wrong with the 40 year decision but top players want to get paid. And they are at places other than Cal.

I love Cal same as you but there are other places that can provide a quality education, better football and provide resources and relationships that will help you throughout life. And get $150K and a truck for playing ball.

Attending UW does not mean you will end up as a 7-11 cashier or motel night clerk.

jb, trust me, coach sirmon along with marshall & his staff got all the bears linebacker tackling stats (including evan weaver almost leading the nation in tackles) ready for mr thomas & his son's review

inside linebacker in the cal defensive scheme is a nfl developmental huge stats position & it's quickly adaptable to quick twitch +1 athletes with sideline to sideline footspeed & violent gameday attitudes as evidenced by true freshman cade uluave's remarkable 2023 season

thx for sharing rushdoggy, with berkeley finals december 11th thru the 15th & keeping in mind the prefeence for utilizing all 15 ncca allowed bowl game practices, the sun bowl is a better destination for the cal football program than the independence bowl

shocky's problem is that he's locked in with his kids to road tripping with them from xmas day thru new year's day to miami (the monster has already invited nando to join us at sexy fish for the 30 day old deep fried barracuda) & then nassau bahamas in order to swim with the ocean piggys (shay & i did this a year ago during one of her denver law school breaks & it's a lotta FUN) so the potential late december bears bowl games aren't gonna work for him

pro tip: don't get between a mama piggy & one of her wild piglets (unless ur a dumb azz or made of steel)#

hero world pga tournament update for the 3rd round:

with a tumultuous rollercoaster round with 8 birdies & 2 bogeys & a double bogey 6 on the dogleg left par 4 10th hole after a wayward drive colin morikawa is in a tie for 4th place at 10 under par after a 68

the great news is that the game's arguably greatest iron player is absolutely rolling the rock this week, colin is 4th in the field in putting thru 3 rounds which portends an amazing 2024 pga season...the new lighter putter head is helping him square up the putter thru impact with less blocks to the right

max homa is getting a really good tan in albany this week, he's already missed 21 greens in regulation thru 3 rounds but still managed to shot a one under par 71 today

congrats to new offensive coordinator (who will continue to coach the offensive line) mike bloesch, his wife lexi (who is the family's ceo while her husband tirelessly puts in hours at work) & their 2 pirate sons beau & drew (ahoy mates)

shocky wuz on the field prior 45 minutes prior to the washington state final home game at memorial stadium watching (as usual) every pregame drill/practice rep for cal's monster offensive line

as the players head back to the tunnel, mike ambles over to the back of the end zone & quietly exchanges a couple of loving words & deep hugs with each of his fam...it wuz a touching moment to observe from further afar

this is a former texas high school coach in abilene & temple who gives respect to everyone in contact with him & gets it returned...mike is a teacher (which is the highest assignment u can give anyone) who values academic achievement as one of his core values who is building our offensive IDENTITY of SMASHMOUTH football with high gpa high character hard working TRUE student athletes

the university of calveston=gonna knock the acc on their ******* sorry broken down candy azz softs azzs in 2024

My one major seizure and a few minor ones, all now controlled for 8 months and counting, at the age of 63 and retired were life changing enough. Keep getting up and moving is what I tell everyone who has anything. The alternative is just not that appealing to me.
