agreed knowlton's comment re: partnering with lyons wuz kinda bizarre, the con artist really don't connect well with people or read rooms which is probably a factor in his standing policy of declining all media interview requests...he needs to control the environment due to his insecurities & he's not adept in responding to questions (he actually required questions to be sent in advance to him for pre screening in his last interview with jeff faraudo 2 years ago)
in shreveport during the bowl game week knowlton invited himself to the handing out of diplomas to the graduating seniors, multiple people have tole me it wuz very awkward & uncomfortable but that knowlton seemed oblivious to wut should be a fun celebration that didn't need a stiff as cardboard disliked bureaucrat presiding over the event
knowlton's strength in dealing with people is very old alums, he does his "everything is great" spiel & these alums are of a generation where asking probing questions re: the incoming financial tsunami, the lawsuits, the failure to offer free tixs to all students, the failure to manage expenses & reduce costs via cutting sports program would be considered as uncouth
and yeah lyons evaluation of knowlton will not be centered upon the con artist's $1,300,000+ salary as a part time employee residing in another state, it will be a hr decision to terminate or not terminate based upon the legal facts of the 2nd law firm opinion re: the mckeever affair
