Lions-Packers=last game played. Since it is on NBC, where they do player intos, I hope both quarterbacks say "Cal". But Rodgers will probably say "Butte C.C."
Dak Prescott has 24,815 passing yards in 96 games. With 185 Sunday, he ties for 3rd fastest in NFL history to 25,000 yards, per @ESPNStatsInfo.

I can't wait, even if one of the two has a very bad night, it is going to be great. Announcers have a HUGE opportunity here with all the relevant storylines. Each qbs ties to Cal, high flying offensive minded college coaches. Their sort of opposite starts in the Pros only to find themselves together in the same spot, fighting to come back and make the playoffs at pivotal points in their careers. The list goes on and on. Of course the TV guys could fumble and just talk about the weather.
I hope Seattle loses earlier in the day so one of Lions- Packers goes to the playoffs for sure.upsetof86 said:bipolarbear said:

Also, the Seahawks are at home against the sorry Rams and favored.upsetof86 said:bipolarbear said:I hope Seattle loses earlier in the day so one of Lions- Packers goes to the playoffs for sure.upsetof86 said:bipolarbear said:

True, beware the typiCal scenario where Seattle wins and Detroit wins and both qbs stay home.

Ah as should have been expected the karmic punishment extends further, whereby the Rams and McVanus who scapegoated Goff make it impossible for Goff to go to the playoffs by being the losers they are now, even if Goff manages to beat the Packers.
So I hope for a Rodgers - Goff shootout where Rodgers wins, apart from a surprising Rams win.

It has been fun rooting for the Chargers instead.

Yes. Beat LA. I still do not recognize the Chargers being an LA team, but whatever...
The Clippers also started in San Diego are still working on it. This is so LA though:

Goff can only be a spoiler for AR now.
As a side-note, I find it interesting that Goff is wearing gloves while I don't believe Rodgers ever has.bearister said:
I'm actually happy AR still says Butte CC. I hope Goff clown stomps him.

"C" is for captain and the patch changes depending on how many seasons the player has held the designation, which are carried from team to team. Gold "C" is for 5 years I believe. Before that there are little stars below the "C" that become gold year after year. There's also a striped multicolor one but I don't know the significance.HoopDreams said:
why does Rodgers and Goff and rest of players wearing a big gold C on their jerseys?
